About
Porto Limnionas is a picturesque cove in Zakynthos surrounded by majestic jagged cliffs. The waters are crystal clear and perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and diving. If you're feeling brave, you can even jump from some of the rocks into the turquoise waters below. To get to the cove, you'll have to navigate steep steps or a concrete ramp, so wear appropriate shoes. After your swim, head to the tavern for some delicious food as you enjoy the stunning views. It can get crowded later in the day, especially during summer, so get there before noon to secure a good spot. – Tripadvisor

There’s a great cafe/ restaurant on the top of the cliff near the car park! There are loungers up there for £20 pp! You can see the sunset from there! The walk down to the beach is fine, no steep bits but it can be a small scramble at points to lie on the rocks. There is a very small beach on the end. An absolute must!Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 16, 2023

I LOVED my private boat trip to the caves of Keri, and the secluded beach Pisines... you must go if you can. Wonderful bar on the cliff tops with beds for 20euro. Car parking difficult mid day so get there early. Lots of steps, not accessible if you can't do steps. Stop off at Porto Roxo and detour to Keri Village and lighthouse on the return leg.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 2, 2024

The individual sun beds looked nice, but we never used them. Swimming shoes are recommended as there is a slight slope to the water's edge. Nevertheless, there is a lovely cove with excellent swimming and snorkeling.

There is no beach at this cove. It is very busy and the car park small. We parked on the road on a steep hill. There is then a v short walk down. It’s difficult to get in and out of the water unless you like jumping. In particular the walk back up I found very hard - not due to steepness but wet flip flops mean you slip. Bear feet better. A kind man helped pull me up as my family were at top.
If you like snorkelling however this is the place to come. There were the most fish we’d seen of all our beach visits. My daughter enjoyed it. The water was as also lovely and cold and clear.
I would not recommend coming here with young children. There is no shallow part. All deep.

We didn’t use the private sun beds but they looked good. It is a bit of a scramble down to the water and swimming shoes would be a good idea but beautiful cove with nice swimming and snorkelling. Had a drink and snack at the bar overlooking the inlet and sea, great view and good service.

Good view , but if i have to spend all day again on the cliff i ll choose porto roxa
There are more taverna, more places to go go beach, a lot of oportunities to eat, to spend time in porto roxa, than all that i have seen in the area. Restaurant normal , food so so , and for taking a sun bec you must make reservation a few days before. My advise ; go , take a bath , drink something and go to porto roxa. Is near and more better

Written March 24, 2022

As others have mentioned, car, motor bike or quad. As the song says, " just get there if you can" it'll be worth the effort, promise.
