The beach as a special nature, stone. The gentleman who puts on and takes off his umbrellas very ugly speaks to the visitors. He is very arrogant and uneducated. Payment for umbrellas to all visitors is different…. he was probably looking for a man. Trash is completely missing. Paying chesh without a check. Smell of oil, oil stains in the water. In our reply to the oil slick, asking for the money back, we were refused. I left very disappointed. We do not recommend the beach just for the simple reason, the gentleman is an uneducated pig.

The beach itself was beautiful and quiet, but we soon figured out why there's no-one there. The guy who rents the chairs came to stare at us for 5 minutes (we're a group of young 17-19 years old women). When he left we discussed as we felt really uncomfortable and decided to leave the beach but the guy came speeding down the small pathway with a motorcycle so we had to jump to the bushes to get out of his way. Then he went on and URINATED in front of us!! Definitely wouldn't visit the beach again, especially alone, as we felt threatened by him and disgusted by his behaviour.

It’s actually a beautiful little rocky beach but is totally ruined by the excessive diesel smell and a man who runs the beds.
Water is clear but has a layer of oil, if you enter you get covered in it.
This crazy man who runs beds stopped us taking pictures, very aggressive and ignorant. Tried hitting both me and my camera with the stick. If I had of reacted to his behaviour or been a smaller man I’m sure it would have escalated very quickly.
We left immediately and I would never return or give this business any money ever.
I would avoid completely and find other beautiful spots with lovely people of the island.
This person is dangerous and volatile, I’m genuinely surprised the authorities let this person stay here.

We went with a group of 6 adults and 3 kids and at beggining felt a smell of petrol in the water, later the petrol itself was present. The man with sunbeds was very rude, charges 10 euro for two. When I asked for a trash bin he gave me a bag from a supermarket. All in all simply avoid this place, if you need just get a pic there and go to better locations on Zakynthos.

The pictures look amazing. But once you make your way down the path, the beach is FILLED with oil, the boats are polluting the water, poor turtles… and poor humans who swim in it without knowing. They charge 10€ pr chair at the pebble beach which is fair, if it wasn’t filled with oil & smelled very bad of diesel as well.
Not worth the trip, don’t waste your time nor money.

The beach is off the beaten path not too far from Keri Beach. Small road leads to area; small path takes you to the beach. Quiet and isolated pebble beach with wonderful views. Visiting in the afternoon can help avoid having to get sunbed/umbrella from unfriendly, rude local man (yes, we too witnessed his rudeness!). There is plenty of space to layout towel/beach mat.

We were renting above this beach, it's a disaster every day you have an oil slick of 500 m which arrives following the overpopulation of boats which all make the same journeys during the day. The smell is strong even when you are at sea.....they are polluting their livelihood. ....the poor turtles!!

Initially the beach seemed wonderful to us: crystal clear and transparent water but above all uncrowded. in addition to the fact that they ask ten euros per person for umbrellas ( which becomes unmanageable for a family), after about twenty minutes the surface of the water filled with oil, making it impossible to swim. in conclusion I strongly advise against it.

Beautiful beach made of pebbles. Uncrowded. Clear water, seabed with algae and rocks, nice for snorkeling. To get there there there is a path of about 300 meters, feasible in slippers but shoes are better. Sometimes you smelled bitumen. We recommend eating at the Votsalo tavern above the beach.

Bit of a climb down across rough ground but completely worth it. Crystal clear water (not a sign of any oil described in other reviews). Snorkelled in the sea for an hour and didn’t see any pollution.
Two sun loungers and a parasol €20, no issues with the guy who took my money.
Take beach shoes to make it easier to walk on the pebbles.

I did visit the beach and in my opinion 10€ is ok for the whole day and if one wants to have a waterbed it would be wiser to book a room in a hilton hotel. The guy is very ok we had not a single problem with him, on the contrary we had some nice conversations.
