part of the cruise Seven Islands Cruises, looking for the burrow of the submarine the ability of the captain to enter a little bit inside the cave brings a little bit of adrenaline my expectations were higher than what i got

A cave on the island of Meganissi whose historical significance (associated with a Greek submarine that hid there during WWII) is disputed, but the trip to it is worthwhile - offered by medium-sized cruise ships from Lefkada and some neighboring islands.

It’s a nice cave and easily accessible, which means it get crowded. Get the photo and get out back to a nice bay for a swim.

there are always boats going into this cave and some big boats. But you do need a boat to get to it. Not much else to say about it

Went on a day trip from Nidri. Had a lovely swim in the ocean and diving off of the ship we were on. Seems to get very busy though as it's a very popular tourist destination for the local day cruise companies.

You can approach this cave only by boat, in this cave hiking is not possible, you can approach by boat and you might swim around if the ship's captain allow you so. If there are many waves it is dangerous to swim around the... More
