it is one of my favorite Lefkada's beach because it is very long, no crowdy, sandy, very clear blue/green water and an amazing sunset in the evening!

When we arrived at the beach understanding no facilities - most important no WC - the wild nature. There's one beach bar, but we roared and left. The road to there is very strong.

The beach is indeed stunning with blue whaters but in the whater are also big stones so you have to be carefull. When we went there on 07.06 the road was closed(under construction) so we had to make the effort of going by foot...not a...More

Don't bother as the road to the beach is being repaired and not accessible. Check with local before u make the effort to go all the way.

On a sunny day we spent most of our morning at Gialos beach, the sand is white and soft, we chose to stay in a section where most of the locals are settled and had a wonderful morning

Having read other reviews here, I felt the hair raising car journey down steep, potholed roads with seriously tight hairpin bends would be worth it. Sadly, it wasn't. This is a beach that is better seen from above and, from that point of view, it's...More

Beautiful location but don't be misled by the reviews talking about a sandy beach. It's pebbles and if you want to be comfortable, bring some water shoes. It's pretty but in my opinion not outstanding other than the colour of the water.
