This was probably the best swimming beach on Corfu, wide and sandy, no rocks, actual small surf and clear sparkly blue water, beautiful. Lots of loungers and umbrellas for hire, you could park right down near the beach.

Nice beach and nice village, i love a drive up into Pelekas stopping of for a frappe on the way. If you are visiting Pelekas beach you should also visit Glyfada beach, also very nice, where us locals go.

I believe you can hire a boat with captain from the south end of the beach (ask at the restaurant by the showers, called "Maria's of Pelekas")- but I did not see any rentals to drive yourself.
