It's a steep climb so make sure you bring appropriate foot wear. As others have said, the views are stunning and you can feel the history. Definitely recommended.

The views from this historic site are worth the trip. The road to the bottom of the castle winds down the hill after passing through the narrow streets of Krini. A very reasonable price of 2 Euros. The steep climb up the path to the...More

Beautiful views and a lovely walk through the olive groves, I really enjoyed visiting this old fort even though the weather was not fantastic. This would be a recommended visit on a holiday in Corfu.

This is well worth the short climb and the 2 Euro admission. Fabulous views all round, although there is not too much of the castle to see, being mainly in ruins. If the small car park is full, you can park easily on the road.

Really, the parking site is not large. Not a busy place, but we recommend to visit in the morning. The climbing to the castle ruins is rather steep and slow, but the views are breathtaking ! There is a small entrance fee (1-2 euros). But...More

Sorry I cannot answer this as we hired a car and drove ourselves. Certainly Angelokastro is in the same part of the island as Paleokastritsa so a taxi there may be possible. Best wishes!
