Top notch experience in Corfu
Sep 2021
I love the Theotoky Estate. We loved our tour. Absolutely delicious wines - we tasted the red, white and rose. The staff are charming, cultured, knowledgeable and happy. It helped that it was a beautiful late September autumn day when we sat outside to sample the wines. All the machinery and the outbuildings are beautifully maintained. I had to buy a bottle of wine (which we are saving for a special occasion), olive oil and marmalade to bring back to the UK. Marks out of ten - *eleven*. I dont think I can drink non-organic wine ever again after this marvellous experience.

Disappointing.
Aug 2021 • Friends
Abut if a disappointment because it was a bit busy and they didn’t deal with it well.
For €15 you would expect more than 2 small tastings of white snd rose, whereas if you want red you need to add extra. Included in this price was some cheese snd meat with salad. We could wait for a tour but the place was not welcoming.

Brilliant wine tasting and food experience!!
Aug 2021 • Friends
What a brilliant experience! Delicious food, olive oil and wine (with large tasting measures) led by a fantastic host. Very accommodating and knowledgable host who takes you on a tour of the vineyard and teaches you about the wines. I would 100% recommend this experience!

A Lovely Spot, Great Staff and Wonderful Wine
Jul 2021 • Solo
Overall a wonderful experience. I had booked on to one of the wine tastings with a little nibble on the side.

The tasting includes a small (very small!) tour of some of the facilities. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and could answer all the questions I had!

The wine was fantastic. I was a particularly big fan of their rosé. The tastings are incredibly generous in terms of filling the glass. The nibbles on the side were great - particularly the feta made from their sheep.

I would highly recommend calling in! It's also not far from the Corfu Donkey Rescue sanctuary.... which is also very worth a visit.

One note - the tour and tasting is very laid back and starting times are more of a suggestion than formal schedule. I wouldn't have it any other way - I waited for 10 minutes or so for the tasting to start. They very kindly gave me a glass of rosé to sample whilst I waited.

Relax and Enjoy this Idyllic Estate!

Theotoky is a wonderful experience for any wine-lover. A beautiful drive through the vineyards takes you to one of the oldest (and largest) wineries on Corfu. Here, they feature white wines made from the native Greek robola grape (not to be confused with the Italian grape of a similar name). These wines have a distinct mineral note and are very acidic; they compliment food (or rather, they CRAVE IT). They also produce a Syrah-based Rose’.

The simple but tasty Cabernet Sauvignon won’t appeal to those who prefer big Napa or Bordeaux-based Cabs, but it should go wonderfully with some local lamb or a gyro at lunch.

Add the “snack” option to your tasting (practically a meal’s worth of fresh Greek salad and meats, with local olives), and let the wonderful Stefania guide you through the wines. The feta - a blend of sheep and goat’s milk from animals right on the estate - is worth the price alone. This quaint estate is the perfect escape from the bustle of Corfu Town, and very much worth the short drive from anywhere on the island..

Lovely wine and great afternoon
Sep 2020
We came to Teotoky Estate one afternoon for the tour and wine tasting. We were given a tour of the vineyard and an overview of their history and the wines they produce. We then had a tasting of two wines (white and rose) with some delicious snacks of fresh tomatoes, feta, meat and bread. The wine was very nice and we bought some bottles and some olive oil to take away. Overall it was a lovely afternoon and I would recommend to visit.

Wonderful snapshot of local heritage
Sep 2020 • Couples
We walked from Ermones beach for the 10am wine tasting session. The host was so welcoming & gave us a wonderful insight into the vineyard operations. We then sat overlooking the estate & sampled a white, rosé & red wine. We sampled the olive oil which is also produced on the estate, which is delicious. The tour is a great way to sample some of the local heritage & shouldn’t be missed.

Outstanding vineyard

We did the tour and tasting - wine and olive oil. Amazing personal tour with a brilliant guide who spoke superb English and indulged our love for great wine, food and James Bond. Superb venue, very luxurious estate in the heart of a traditionally casual Greek island. The wines and oil are excellent value and the attention to detail is superb. We learnt something new despite having been to vineyards before. The white was our favourite but the rosé is lovely too! We find the Robola wine is perfectly scented for our palettes ;)
