Best beach in ipsos, it is a little pebble at the beginning but after that is only sand. The water is very clear. We stayed at the 12€+ water side in front of “olea” restaurant.

Very pebbly beach you will deffo need beach shoes the shop opposite sells them for 9 euros,we paid 10 euros for 2 sunbeds and umbrella and you got 2 bottles of water for free,so well worth it,the guys on yhe beach were awesome and brought a range of drinks and food to you which all was lovely,once you get past the pebbled it was nice and sandy

Not a particularly nice beach on busy road with kebab houses, bars and closed down dilapidated establishments. All pretty scruffy and lucky to escape unscathed considering the state of the pavements!

Lovely pebbled gravel beach, lovely on the feet, nice and narrow, very clean and well looked after, lovely view of albania across the water too

took loads of pictures , had a great time , beach was safe to swim in , and parasol and sun loungers are about 10 euro per pair per day , some include 2 bottles of water to drink , all bars , shops , resturants opposite beach

Can't really call it a beach.. More weed strewn gravel.. But lovely views of the bay and Albania.. Especially at sunrise.. Go to Dassia or Barbatti

We were descending from our visit of Mt. Pantokrator Monastery when we spotted this beautiful bay.
Ipsos is a long, but pretty narrow beach running along the same name town. We found our parking spot along the main street which is full of restaurants. Took our takeaway and had a great lunch and swim in crystal clear and oil calm sea.

Certainly not the nicest beach in corfu. However the kids loved the inflatable assault course, and the watersports were fabulous. Especially with our nervous youngest.
Ipsos beach is full of litter, very unkempt. The town is a mixed bunch of bistro style cafes some tavernas and generally catering for youngster.. the whole area stunk of fumes from the masses of scooters and quad bikes.. Italian and French youngster en mass 20/30 scooters at a time. We were there August so peak season Especially for European tourists.
El del Mar was lovely for food which we enjoyed on a few occasions but their rules on the sunbed was rude and off-putting to come back (our teens were off shopping whilst we were spending a few hours on beach but they would let us use theirs as there was more than 2 of us even though they weren't staying on the beach, quite bizarre)
Not an area of Greece I would rush back too in a hurry

En el mar bar and sunbeds are very comfortable sunbeds with direct access to the sea.
Beach is pebbles so beach shoes recommended but sea is clear and sandy. Bar charges €10 for 2 sunbeds with thick mattresses which are cleaned frequently.
No hassle from the staff. Highly recommended

We have stopped off in our car on numerous occasions over the years for a quick dip whilst driving up and down other island. Not this time!!!
Dirty…the water as usual was clear advantage of this you could see how dirty it was. There was so much rubbish dirt and debris floating in the water and sitting on the beach.
This is not good! Ipsos beach and resort want returning customers then restaurants servicing people on the beach get cleaning. Clean the beach and resort please do not let the resort lose appeal as a place to visit such a variety of establishments along the coast road.

Hi I am visiting ipsos beach from the 5th of July to the 16th, I was just wondering how busy it usually is around this time ? Is everything open and are there boat trips/tours to do ?

Hi, it is very busy during this time,but very nice still.
Better go to the beach before 1pm, cos less people, most shops and bars are open even at night. Lots of Italian students. Yes, there are plenty trips you can do...

ciao, l'estate prossima insieme ad un gruppo di amici andrò a ipsos in vacanza. sapete darmi il nome di qualche bella spiaggia non troppo lontana (raggiungibile con gli scooter a noleggio) da ipsos? e per quanto riguarda la vita notturna quali sono i locali/discoteche che meritano maggiormente?
