About
We are proud to be able to handle some of the noblest Greek grape varieties. We aim to produce wines that reflect the uniqueness of the Robola and the other local varieties. We are quite happy to watch over the wines during their formative stage and intervene only when necessary.

Classy establishment
Oct 2021
This is part of a trip into the centre of Kefalonia. The winery is situated in a large valley with extensive views. We did not go round the vineyard as it was closed in October after harvesting. However the shop will do tasting for €4 per person so we tried the white wines and even bought some bottles. The service was friendly and sitting outside in the sun very relaxing. We were the only visitors there but the car park has spaces for coaches so I suspect it is busy in high season.

Delicious local wine
Sep 2021
We stopped here on our way to Sami from Argostoli after visiting the Monastery (it's right behind it). They were very friendly and we sat outside enjoying the view across the valley while doing the wine tasting. Delicious wines.
Well worth a short visit.

Beautiful location and nice wines, but no food :(
Aug 2021 • Couples
We visited the winery in the early evening. The location is very nice especially in the golden hour when the sun is setting behind the mountain. When we visited the place was more or less brand new, looking very good and professional. The wines tasted nice (but that's of course personal). Our only remark was that there wasn't any food to go with the tasting. We were offered free cookies, but it would have been nice to be able to combine recommended small finger food with the wines.

A warm welcome and great wine at Robola.
Sep 2020
My family visited this winery in mid September 2020. The trip to the area is worthwhile in itself, since the journey through the countryside is beautiful. Just as beautiful is the location; the winery courtyard is on a slight incline affording a panorama of the valley and picture perfect view of the Saint Gerasimos monastery, as seen in the above photograph. We tasted several wines, which were refreshing in the hot weather, crisp and clear with a sometimes spicy, sometimes floral, aroma. Although not cheap, we all thought that the wines and experience were value for money. Vangelis, who served us and explained everything, was an excellent host; attentive but not intrusive. We bought some bottles to take away with us.
All in all, an excellent few hours of journey and visit to this lovely co-operative - we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Ευχαριστώ Βαγγέλης και Robola. Diolch.

Beautiful location with nice views of the vineyards!

A super organized and clean spot to taste a variety of wines from the Coop of 330 vineyards. Friendly staff and good prices with a large covered outdoor tasting area. Some bio wines too!

Local wines and wine cooperative

The winery was discovered by luck because but I was positively surprised. Despite my initial refusal for the wine tasting I ended up taking the 4 wine menu after the recommendation of the stuff. Nice variations of mainly white wine where one whichever f them is the variety Robola and was ideal for a warm summer day.
I ended up buying 5-6 bottles of wine.
Pros. Beautiful building , nice furnitures , good service.
Nice to have. The option to get a small portion of home made bread with some cheese and tomatoes.
Not so much for cleansing the pallet but mostly to prevent wine hiting you in the head because you have to drive to go there.

Great Tour and Tasting
Oct 2019
Our group were shown around by an excellent and very knowlegable guide. The story of wine production was broken down into the seasons of the year and the work carried out during those seasons, from the harvesting of the grapes, the pressing of the grapes, the storage while fermenting, right through to the botteling and corking.
We found this a very interesting insight into the manufacturing of bulk wine and it was certainly comlemented by a tasting of probably five or six of those wines at the end of the tour.
Not to be missed if you are in the area.

Non existant tour - lovely wine
Sep 2019
En route to Sami we visited the winery. Place was fairly quiet so we went in to the main shop and asked about a tour. We were told to go an adjacent entrance. So we did and waited and waited for a guide but nothing. Went back and asked and were then told just to walk thru and see the wine making machinery - this took less than 5 minutes with no desription of the process.
We arrived back in the shop and took part in the wine tasting which was fun. Afterwards we stocked on enough wine for the rest of our Kefalonian/Ithaca trip and have to say the wine was excellent.
From other reviews and our experience maybe they are more interested in coach groups.
