About
We are proud to be able to handle some of the noblest Greek grape varieties. We aim to produce wines that reflect the uniqueness of the Robola and the other local varieties. We are quite happy to watch over the wines during their formative stage and intervene only when necessary.

- Celestine65Kent, United Kingdom296 contributionsExcellent Variety of WinesPlease go try the wines here as you will be pleasantly surprised. The wines are excellent. We have our favourites of course but every few years we like to go on a wine tasting to try the new wines but also what the different years have changed in any way the ones we love. yes if you go back 20 years the wines may not have travelled well but I can totally assure you they do now. We like to bring some back but we also order here from an importer as if we can't get back more than once a year we would miss our Truth & San Gerasimo wines. This year we loved the dessert wine & have brought that back to try with our Christmas pud! We also enjoyed a great event jointly organised by the wine makers & a wonderful restaurant Sunrise in Skala last year with food & wine pairings which was amazing so please do those again. My husband & I have been to the wine regions of many countries including South Africa & California so I feel we can say with confidence that if you love & know your wines you would enjoy a visit here.Visited June 2023Written July 20, 2023

Personally I prefer another vineyard which is not so much on this scale. Pleasant seating area and loads of parking.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 23, 2023
- 415andyUnited Kingdom17 contributionsExcellent wine, staff and scenery! The wines were excellent, as was the information given by the staff! The locals recommended this winery as the one to visit on the Island, this proved to be excellent advice. The grapes are exclusively grown in the valley region. We tasted the wines with a backdrop of great scenery and ended up buying several bottles!Visited August 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten August 4, 2023
- Adele R1 contributionOrealios WineryBeautiful scenery with excellent tasting wines and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The highlight of our trip however had to be meeting Oliver, the resident puppy (the wines were amazing but you can’t cuddle wine). Such a friendly, loving dog who wanted nothing more than a belly rub, a bit of love and something to play with. My flip flop dutifully obliged until a trade was required for our departure. Highly recommend.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 12, 2023

It was just a tasting, with some information on production etc. from the lively presenter. You could sample white, red, rose and the very sweet dessert wine. The location is beautiful. Worth seeking out this excursion, which also takes in a visit to a Village, Kourkoumelata paid for to be rebuilt after the 1953 devasting earthquake of the island,Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 2, 2023

My family visited this winery in mid September 2020. The trip to the area is worthwhile in itself, since the journey through the countryside is beautiful. Just as beautiful is the location; the winery courtyard is on a slight incline affording a panorama of the valley and picture perfect view of the Saint Gerasimos monastery, as seen in the above photograph. We tasted several wines, which were refreshing in the hot weather, crisp and clear with a sometimes spicy, sometimes floral, aroma. Although not cheap, we all thought that the wines and experience were value for money. Vangelis, who served us and explained everything, was an excellent host; attentive but not intrusive. We bought some bottles to take away with us.
All in all, an excellent few hours of journey and visit to this lovely co-operative - we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Ευχαριστώ Βαγγέλης και Robola. Diolch.

Unless you get off a tour bus, they don’t have time for you. We stopped here after visiting some other sights around Kefalonia and were very disappointed. After 20 minutes all we had experienced was watching tour buses of tourists buy single bottles of wine. The staff seemed unprepared and inexperienced.

We just saw this on a map and thought we would give it a go, but we were just expecting a basic set up if that…. How wrong! The winery is easily accessible by car via good roads just 20 mins from Argostoli.
The wine tasting building was contemporary, well appointed with good clean toilets. There are 2 wi e flights to choose from, we went for 8 glasses with some bruschetta which 2 of us shared for €10 so really good value. A very knowledgeable lady came and explained all the different wines, some of which were sold out elsewhere. Bruschetta was served to go with the more fully bodied wines.
I was really impressed! The staff were really friendly and happy to explain any questions. You could buy there or not, no hassle, and even get delivery anywhere in the EU.

We visited the winery in the early evening. The location is very nice especially in the golden hour when the sun is setting behind the mountain. When we visited the place was more or less brand new, looking very good and professional. The wines tasted nice (but that's of course personal). Our only remark was that there wasn't any food to go with the tasting. We were offered free cookies, but it would have been nice to be able to combine recommended small finger food with the wines.

Very nice place with great potential yet absolutely chaotically disorganised, no attention was paid to us, everyone was rather unnerved running from one table to another, repeating the same information over and over again instead of organising groups and attend to Guests properly. Very kind and friendly but clearly overwhelmed staff. Delicious wines.

The winery was discovered by luck because but I was positively surprised. Despite my initial refusal for the wine tasting I ended up taking the 4 wine menu after the recommendation of the stuff. Nice variations of mainly white wine where one whichever f them is the variety Robola and was ideal for a warm summer day.
I ended up buying 5-6 bottles of wine.
Pros. Beautiful building , nice furnitures , good service.
Nice to have. The option to get a small portion of home made bread with some cheese and tomatoes.
Not so much for cleansing the pallet but mostly to prevent wine hiting you in the head because you have to drive to go there.

A super organized and clean spot to taste a variety of wines from the Coop of 330 vineyards. Friendly staff and good prices with a large covered outdoor tasting area. Some bio wines too!

We stopped here on our way to Sami from Argostoli after visiting the Monastery (it's right behind it). They were very friendly and we sat outside enjoying the view across the valley while doing the wine tasting. Delicious wines.
Well worth a short visit.

Can i take the wine i bought through airport as hand luggage or will it have to be packrd in suitcase?

Not sure what you mean really, as you can't take any liquids (except in 100ml containers) in hand luggage, except what is bought as duty free/after you have gone through security. Our bottles bought at Robola Wines went (well padded and in plastic bags) in the hold luggage.

have a 1983 bottle Calliga in a bag with a seal on. Robola Cephalonia from a deceased estate and was wondering if it would be any good to drink and if it is worth while saving as it is.

Would like transportation suggestions from FRA airport to Moevenpick Hotel Frankfurt am Main City? (Arriving evening of October 11)
