Doesn't get too crowded. Sunbeds and umbrellas are cheaper than the more popular nearby Athimos beach, as is the beach bar (which incidentally offers a waitress service). The cafe overlooking the beach is also good value.
I visited a couple of different beaches during my three weeks vacation on the island, and this was my favourite. The water got a wonderful colour, the sand is perfect and there is a nice cafe in one end (I recommend the Kefalonian salad).
