A 3,000 years old theatre with 17,000 seats, it's not something that you see every day, the site is open wild and very well maintained, extended grass fields, currently are working on restoration of the seats in order to make active for live shows

We were with a painting group and arrived early in the day. Few people there that early. Ampitheator was impressive , partially reconstructed.not much left of any other buildings except there foundations.More people arrived later but was never crowded. Would go again.

The Dodoni archeological site harbours an amazing ancient theatre that has been painstakingly restored. Other than this, one can see the ruins of the ancient sanctuary dedicated to Zeus. Archeologists are still at work on the site.
