Clearly my favorite. The beach was only a few steps away from my hotel. Lichnos is not built up with hotels, there is a lot of green space. You can eat very well in the taverns on the beach. Water sports offers sun beds and parasols available.

This is just the best beach in Parga - it was last year and is keeping the title this year!!!
Ok - so Lichnos is not quite in Parga..... we have a hire car so v easy for us to drive here. But you can walk though the olive trees and hills from Parga (too much effort for us!) or get the boat taxi from Parga Town.
The beach is busy but in a good way (2020 was much quiter but we were later in Sept). 2021 here in early Sept and still Greek holidays - so busy with families, but still lots of room and sunbeds are not too close to each other. There is music from the concessions but not too intrusive, move to front of beach if you want to avoid it. (Bar n.ammos is clearly the young trendy place and does like to turn up the volume a bit - mind you it's pretty good chillout dance vibe music!).
Beach is very small stones & some sand, no water shoes needed. There are about 6 different restaurants or bars and concessions to choose from along the beach, plus large areas of free sand at either end if you don't want a bed. Water is good, clear (quite a few fish swimming around if you look down and all sizes), goes steep quite quickly, never too full and easy swim out and across the bay, you can feel a slight pull if a bit windy - but not much. Sea always seems calm in the mornings then waves come in the afternoon (especially if a storm is coming). There are water sports available, seen quite a few people out water skiing, pedalos, SUPs, kayaks and also boats to the little caves.
Great views from the beach of various headlands/Islands.
We always come to CORAL beach bar restaurant (have tried a few others). As you come down the hill don't drive direct into first bar car park (even if bloke directs you too 😉) go around to next entrance - CORAL. Good free car park with some shade if you are early. Beds are comfy, team on the beach are great & friendly, they'll get your drinks/snacks if you don't want to move all day! this concession does fill up pretty quickly compared to others. We pay 7€ for 2 beds and umbrella. There is a shower and changing cubicle you can use. Toilets are through restaurant to the back towards kitchen area.
Coral has a good menu - lots of choice from snacks to fresh fish, traditional, lots of salads etc
They also make an excellent cappuccino! Always good friendly service even when it's full at lunchtime. 1

Beautiful beach…..however, .’ SEE PICTURE OF SUNBEDS WHERE YOU'LL BE RIPPED OFF’ ….one sunbed section charging €30 for bed set!!! Plus food & drinks!!! We asked if we bought food/drink it off sets the price of the bed ( like it does at most places) to be told yes. When we ordered 2 coffees to be told it’s €38 euros?!! We said no and moved to the sunbeds next door.
The vile rude sunbed Greek man ( long hair) starting screaming at my partner infront of everyone to put the bean bag back they had placed next to the bed ( as your not allowed to move your sunbed) I went to confront him to ask what his problem was, considering all we did was sit on the bed for 5 mins then moved, as did about 20 Other people over the hour.
I have to say he is the most rudest arrogant Greek man I’ve ever come across. No wonder all the beds either side of you where full (€7 for the beds next door) as you are ripping people off, very greedy! Shame on you.
Go to Coral bar/ restaurant next door and learn how to act like they do….courteous, accommodating, friendly and polite.

The beach is decent in overall degree but is full with organized bar's and taverns. There is a place where the beach is free, without restrictions but they are in the corners of the beach and there is no shade there.

Beach is not in the city center but the closest to the city. You can find free parking. Easy to find. Nice restaurants. Nice sandy beach with clear water. For 2 sunbeds we paid 7euros.

Do not miss a ride to the caves, it is 15 minutes boat ride from the beach. Water is clear, the beach is sandy, but there can be little fishes that can maybe distract you while swimming.

Lichnos in Parga region has doubtful quality of the water. Let's pray, microbs in water you catch in here will not follow you to your home. Soft sand.

Let's face it. Parga's beaches may be very accessible but they are certainly not the best in Greece. Lichnos is nice, but unfortunately very crowded in August, which is when I visited Parga. I doubt the quality of the water. I did get a urninal infection during my 2 weeks in Parga, and I fear it was because of to much bacterias in the sea. There are so many people on the beaches - including this one - that it might in fact be hard to actually get into the water. Still, among the beaches I visited in the Parga region, this was the nicest one.
