The ancient castle is well worth a visit, it has beautiful views across the bay of Parga. Whilst there is a climb to the top, it's raises up in sections so no problem for anyone needing a rest on the way.

The old town was amazing and the castle also. The atmosphere was imposing and made you feel like you were at another time.

Not much to the castle, but well worth the short climb from Parga for the view. No entrance fee. Cafe with views at the top.

You can walk from Parga to this castle. There is a restaurant in it which is a bit worn out. Outside somewhat messy. You di have a nice view from here! The island and the whole shore.

We went on a group trip to this ruined castle stronghold. It has panoramic views, and some interesting features remain even though the site is poorly preserved ruins. It was free to go to, and if you are so inclined there are refreshments on site...More

Parga's Venetian castle is nothing much to see actually. It's a ruin and I'm sure that its history is fascinating for more qualified people than me. But though there's not a great deal of history there once you reach it, the walk up to it...More

There is a very beautiful views from castle to the town and Valtos beach. But that’s all! Castle area is in bad condition, seems that nobody is taking care of it, and it’s a pitty. Would like to go all the area around but it...More

Do not miss it! The perfect view, the best spot to take pictures of Parga. For coffee, beverages or drinks, lunch or dinner, day and night.

This is the perfect place for taking pictures. From the high point of the castle you get the most breathtaking view of Parga. Planty of benches to take a rest after the hike up the hill. Also, lots of natural shade if you're looking to...More

Yes you can just go and wander around free of charge. Lovely views over Parga bay. Don't know about the cafe opening times but expect it would be expensive. It's not a vast area to visit so cafes in town are aplenty.

Just walk up the pedestrian street at the back of the beach. It is lined with shops and bars, so you can just stroll up the street at your own pace. At the top of the street just turn left and you have arrived. Well worth... More
