Whoever is visiting Parga must take a walk up to the castle surrounded by thick rock walls. From the top it openes breathtaking panorama on Parga and its beach , same beautiful at day time or night time. Also there is a restaurant at the castle, where you can enjoy your meal surrounded by ancient ruins and beautiful sea views.... More

The views are stupendous but it is a pity they don't charge people to visit this place. I understand the costs to maintain something like this, but just a small donation per person could be used to keep this place clean and safe for visitors. Unfortunately, not all people take their litter with them and that is so disrespectful. Without... More

A lovely day out in the sun and you can wander the castle at your own pleasure. There are old canons to look at and you can explore the rooms and tunnels. The only down sides is that the castle isn't that well preserved, there are bits broken everywhere and the canons are just laid on the ground. Also in... More

The sea is all around the castle situated on the top of Parga. Quick walk in the castle, with a beautiful view.

You can have a whole view of the small bay & the multi-coloured village from the walls of the castle. It's not hard to get in the top, just try!

The Castle is pretty much in ruins but has a large Cafe' / Bar area with awesome views of Parga Town. A bit of a climb to get to but more than worth it for the view. But if it's Archaeology you're looking for, you might be disappointed.

It's a bit of a pull up the narrow lanes to the castle, especially on a hot day, but the views are worth it. Don't let little ones go to the edge or wander off on their own, as there are some sheer drops.

It's amazingly beautiful even though not well taken care of.the view is completely stunning especially at sunset time. Do make the effort you 'll be plentifully rewarded.

Great place to sit and watch the comings and goings on and out of Parga! Such a chilled out location and so peaceful. Cafes aren't the best or cheapest but location location location

We walked up here for lunch one day and it was very worth it. You get a small taste of the history in Parga but also some lunch and a drink with a fantastic view! You can wonder off exploring the grounds but be warned that it's rocky and uneven so wear comfortable shoes! Not ideal for young kids or... More
