Sivota, Parga & Acheron River

1 review
One of the most beautiful, as well as known through the Greek mythology, points of Epirus, is Acheron river. There, we will learn the history of the river, in ancient Greece and the souls that crossed it with the boat of Charon to arrive to the underworld. Also we will visit Sivota, to explore the beautiful beaches that remembers you how the paradise looks.

Chill full place for mini golf and also a variety of arcade games ti enjoy your summer vacation. The owner is very kind with us and he helped us everytime we wanted. A nice variety of drinks and food. We appreciate that a lot.

Me and my girl went to play some minigolf, the owner Dimitri was amazing and a very nice guy. We played two rounds of minigolf and had great fun. If you want to go and play some golf this is the place to go.

The place do realy need a renovation and upgrading before they can announce this to tourists. Charge 20 euro for two players and two beers, and I have never been at such a crapy mini golf ( have visit a lots of theme other places) There is a lot more nice things to do and spend money at in Parga then this place.

The course is rubbish, no obstacles except the crinkled carpet. Part of the course is unlit at night and some are obstucted by treebranches. No fun gimmicks like ramps, windmills etc. as seen elsewhere However, the setting is quite cozy, with a bar, fruit trees and some resting spots amongst the scattered around.

I've been coming to Parga for 20 years and that little extra that sets it apart is the wonderful 12 hole mini golf run by Dimitris. It's a cracking little course, set amongst orange and lemon trees, little wooden bridges, and is a delight to test your putting skills. Dimitris is a wonderful host, who apart from giving you the odd golfing tip, also spoils his guests in-between rounds, with tasty food and nibbles. And incredibly you can play all day for 5 euros !! It is a relaxing atmosphere, where quite often the highlight is the social chit chat as people come off the course. Before you know it four hours has suddenly disappeared! There is a highest scoreboard for those who make their mark and treat it a little more seriously, but it's amazing how quickly even new starters get 'the bug' and become quite competitive. The course is still in the position of being rebuilt after years of being left to rot, after the previous owner deserted his ship. It has been a painstaking job to gradually rebuild to its current condition. Dimitris knows there is still work to do, but he has done brilliantly to get it up and running and many of us are grateful that he brought it all back to life. The irony is that still many Parga visitors are unaware of the mini golf's existence. They are certainly missing out on a real treat - the icing on the cake!
