You know you're in for a treat when you slowly approach the bay. Be sure to go when the weather is clear and sunny. That way, you'll get to see the different colours of the water. And most importantly, jump in. It's refreshing and clean.

Nice beach in Symi, probably the best. You can reach only with a boat. We took a water taxi from Symi port and brought us for 10 Euro (with Retour inclusive) per person.
There is not much shadows here and nothing to eat or drink so bring everything with you. Probably you won't stay long, for us 2 hours were enough.
It is a stony beach so take shoes with you.

Boats are coming and going all the time so the water could be better. It's still clear and you have the chance to see some fish eating from the stones.

of a massive sheer cliff at the back of the bay. The beach looked white from the boat and waters were jade green from the beach turning turquoise then a deep blue.

Lovely little bay only accessible by boat. Unspoilt by litter etc. Don't tell everyone let's keep it that way.

A beautiful bay on Symi Island - has to be seen to be believed. Difficult to get to - if not staying on the island you will have to go on a ferry or similar vessal BUT well worth it

Only accessible by boat, this is a wonderful bay to swim in and admire the beautiful turquoise blue water. Some day trips stop here and looking at some of the other boats in the bay you can imagine the high life of having your own boat to discover similar beautiful bays.
Day trips stay about an hour, just enough time for a dip or to swim to the beach. Although the boat was full of tourists like me I loved this bay because it felt as if not everyone had discovered it. Deluded I know but a good feeling.

My husband and I loved this experience which came as a surprise as it wasn’t scheduled for the day. The colour of the sea left us speechless and we were amazed by this wonderful creation. I’m not a good swimmer but felt so at ease swimming here as you can clearly see the bottom of the sea and spot some fishes too. Will definitely recommend if you are visiting Rhodes.

We stopped in here on a ferry to Symi and while beautiful it would not be good for swimming as there are a lot of boats and the water would be quite polluted. Stunning coastline.

We booked a day cruise to Saint George Bay and Symi Island online from half price tours. They are the only ones doing this Lazy trip to Symi with a swimming stop. Great value for money. I beleive everyone should visit at list one time this great beach. Three different colours of the water. Crystal clear water. Its haven. We totally reccomend Half Price Tours and this beach.

We did it as part of our sail around the island tour. This beach is best enjoyed before 3pm because the shade forms after this time. A trip with local fisherman can be arranged for those wanting to visit Agios Georgios only. The beach is shap pebbles and stones, but the location and the swim are some of the best in the whole of Mediterranean.
