A great day out!

This is a great way to see the beautiful island of Symi on board this well organised boat trip and with a friendly and professional crew and a great captain. The round the island trip visits several beaches, some only accessible by sea, and includes a stop for lunch on Seskli island. There are plenty of swimming stops throughout the day. The food, other than the barbecue chicken, is cooked by the captain on the journey and is fantastic - it could happily grace a restaurant table. The chicken is freshly BBQ at lunch. The food, wine, water, coffee and soft drinks are include in the price (€35 pp in August 2020). This is a great way to see the whole island and checkout beaches for a return visit. Can’t praise the captain and crew highly enough - friendly and professional throughout - and have no hesitation in recommending this boat trip. A great day out and very good value for money.

Great day out and great lunch!

A round the island cruise on a lovely boat with refreshments available and 5 opportunities to swim from the boat AND lunch makes this the best value 7 hours you’ll spend on wonderful Symi!

The highlight for us was the the lunch though. Served on the smaller island of Sesklia in an isolated cove with a beach, the variety and quality (and quantity) of the food available, even for vegetarians, went far beyond expectations and made dinner in the evening totally unnecessary!

The boat leaves at 10:30am, but if you want a choice of seat on the boat in high season I would strongly recommend arriving a fair bit before 10am!

Brilliant...... don't hesitate!

The Poseidon Round Island trip is a brilliant full day excursion. In total, there are 5 stops, with one of these stops being a barbecued lunch on a island at their private location. The boat is fairly small, with about 25/30 passengers, which made it very personal. The lunch was fantastic, which also included wine and ouzo. The trip costs 45 euros per person and is worth every euro. It's crewed by a lovely family crew.

This trip around the island is a must. There is a chance to see some Greek churches, swim in remote crystal clear water, but the best part is landing on a small island for lunch. There is a walk into the heart of the island and swimming while the crew fix lunch.

Apart from the chicken everything was vegetarian, and Greek.

The island cat and goats arrived to for the leftover, not much of that as many went back for seconds. Even the fish knew what time it was, they arrived to feed when the plates and dishes were rinsed.

This is a grand day out.

The best day out in Symi! Amazing experience!

This tour was sensational - a brilliant day out for all the family!
Get there early to get a good spot on the boat. The staff were great & really friendly.
The boat took us all around Symi, to some amazing swimming spots. Jumping off the boat, from various height platforms, into crystal clear waters, was amazing.
Morning tea of salami & cheese sandwiches were provided; along with all day tea/coffee/biscuits, cold water, juices, red & white wine & ouzo. The BBQ buffet lunch at Seskli island, with the goats & cats was a highlight & lunch was delicious - plenty of vegetarian options too. Fresh, cold watermelon is served on the way back to port - very welcome after all the swimming/climbing/jumping off the boat on repeat!
If you plan to visit Symi, put this tour on your to-do list, you won’t regret it! We had a wonderful time & our kids absolutely loved it.
As a full day out, with food & drinks included, this tour is great value for money too.
Thanks to all the staff for their kindness & professionalism; we would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Symi.

Round the island tour of Symi is a must-do

Fantastic value as it includes freshly bbq chicken lunch with awesome salads (our vegetarian in our group was very happy). Was quite crowded on our day but we saw other days where less people so be hit and miss if you have more space to spread out. Thought it was funny that you needed to pay for soft drinks and beer but water, wine and ouzo was free. We followed up a couple of days by hiring our own large boat to see the beaches we missed - definitely a reasonable option if you are in a group of 8 or so.

Excellent value for money on fabulous trip

I have reviewed the Poseidon round-the-island boat trip before and, having recently returned to beautiful Symi, wouldn't hesitate to give it five stars again. Yiannis and his crew ensure a warm and convivial atmosphere as they sail you through the azure waters of the Aegean, this time accompanied by dolphins early on. Although the trip has always been busy when I’ve been on it, it never feels too full, and there's space for every one of the international group on board. The swimming stops are all in gorgeous spots which would otherwise not be accessible. Lunch is a spectacular beach barbecue with plenty for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The trip is a fantastic way to see Symi at a relaxed pace and, with food and drink included, offers truly excellent value for money. I will be doing it again for certain whenever I return.

Don't miss this experience!

The best thing you can do on the island! We absolutely loved it! Obviously everything we visited was simply amazing, crystal clear waters and you could jump from the boat into totally emerald blue waters and enjoy swimming away from the crowds. The hospitality was great, the food unexpectedly delicious with loads of options while the price was definitely less than one would imagine. Symi is not the cheapest island but this boat tour was indubitably great value for money!

Fabulous day, highly recommended !

We don’t normally do these types of tourist excursions but after reading the reviews we booked. Wowsa what a fabulous day, relaxing and lots of fun. The boat was full but we didn’t feel squished, we went on a Monday and really enjoyed the spots we stopped at. The lunch was excellent and so generous, healthy and delicious! We would definitely recommend this day to anyone.

Best day out ever

We’ve been to Symimanytimesand one of the main reasons is the trip round the island with Captain Yiannis and the crew on Poseidon. With such a fabulous buffet lunch and swimming in bays of perfect turquoise water, I can’t think of a better days entertainment, and excellent value.
In fact, this year, we were celebrating my wife’s 60th birthday with the whole family and booked ourselves on Poseidon before booking accommodation or flights!
