The view alone is worth the climb. And the stairs. It is a ruin, but one that has seen great battles! Tip: on your way back, follow signs to Johnny's taverna, and you will end up at a perfect bay with a lovely restaurant! Trust me!

Kristina castle is better than monolithos castle simples... Always get lost trying to find this place, that's all good fun, best way to find it is just follow another white rented car . The views are worth it

You will have to travel a little bit to reach this one - but it is my considered opinion it is worth :) The castle has a grandious view - well it is not really a castle, but mostly ruins, restored from the "back" side, ie to the road, and open towards the sea. Maybe not more than half an... More

We stopped off at this castle while driving around the island and were the only people there for most of the time! The views from the top over the Aegean sea are really spectacular and it was a really nice place to spend half an hour or so and take in the scenery. There are a fair number of steps... More

This is the place if you would like to have the most amazing sunset shot on the island! Not really much to do there except of the view.

As stated previously there isn't much left of the castle but a walk up is well worth it for the views alone. It's just a little bit of Rhodes history.

Above average ruins. Views are stunning, no information boards though. We climbed the steps up and when peaked, we went down within the castle itself. At least there isn't an 'old' religious building dropped in the middle of it with a box in the corner to encourage your donations.

Doing a road tour of the west coast this is a must stop. Crowded car park & Cafe doing a roaring business. The view from the Castle shell is magnificent. That's right , it is only a shell of the original but from below looks the part. The steps aren't too bad even with a bung foot but would pose... More

Free entry. Not much left remains of the castle but if you scale the small flight of stairs there are some great views of the islands off the west coast.
