Wow, what a place to discover within the medieval walls - amazing streets lined with such old buildings that several date back to the B.C. period. Clear tourist area full of restaurants and shops, but just a couple of streets back and it's quieter and fun to poke around.

Love the shops, food and water. In the daytime, there are boat options and other fun day activities. At night, the old gate is lit with colored lights, musicians come out and it's quite lively. If you have a GPS, there's also a Starbucks off premises for any that collect the city mugs ;) If you need souvenirs, this is... More

The Medieval City is really a city . So you have a lot to see and explore . The atmosphere is incredible , because the city is living. If your hotel is in Rhodos this is the perfect place to spend your nights.

The old medieval city of rodos brings you back in time. Wondering through the small narrow streets, gives you a feeling how it must have been (and still is) living in this old city. A lot of nice shops and restaurants.

The medieval city is a must see, it's huge and surrounded by a very thick wall considering when it was built, amazing history behind the whole place. We drove from Pefkos to Rhodes by a hired car, it was easy to find, free parking near the port area and then 10min walk to the entrance. The whole city is now... More

Not to be missed. A lovely old city with narrow cobbled streets and beautiful buildings. Although busy in the main areas, you can soon find yourself alone in a quiet street. So many buildings to look at. Lots of cafes, tavernas, shops. Just outside the walls is the harbour, a small beach, park/gardens. Plenty of free roadside parking.

We had a guided tour as well as a free visit. The medieval city is just great. Bustling with activity, may be a but too much focused on tourists but what do you expect. Stray of the main streets go into the little alleys and have a look around. What you can find in the shops you can most probably... More

You will visit the Palace of the Grand Master, and the street where the Knights their accommodations. You wander in streets with houses that have yards full of flowers. You will find many good shops for shopping, while you can relax or eat at one of the restaurants or cafes . In a town that continuously inhabited for more than... More
