Just have to visit and more than once so much to see and do stray off the beaten track to see the real old town but watch the bars as the beer can cost 20 euros for a big one ask the price first

A really nice place to visit! Full of history and greek landmarks! Worth visiting in the evening when the sun is going down.

My friend and I absolutely loved this trip to Lindos to climb the Acropolis. The views are breathtaking. Completely and utterly worth every step. If you struggle with walking (especially in the heat), there is an option to have a donkey ride up to the top. Otherwise, I highly recommend the walk. Lindos is beautiful, so many lovely white buildings.... More

Disappointed by the lack of information. The architecture looks impressive though and would be a great place for outside shows (not sure if there are any organized there).

As a great enthusiast of ancient history I enjoyed the temple of Apollo and seeing the arena . However , as many others have previously noted there are no signs or explanations of the ruins . Strangely , on Wikipedia , I was unable to find out much more information . Some areas appear to be collections of rubble ,... More

A short walk from Rhodes town you get free open access to ancient history and great views. The stadium is amazing - I even had a run around it and could feel the Ancient Greek crowd cheering me on ! Lacks descriptive information on site, and the Acropolis pillars currently under scaffolding but it doesn't detract.

The acropolis has some very interesting things to see, but it is just abbandoned. After the Italians restored some of the buildings and the track field it has basically been almost abbandoned. There are no indications, no information stands and no indication whatsoever. To get from one monumento to the other you need to guess where you are and what... More

A great view from the top of Rodos is a must for any tourist. One of the largest ancient stadium can be visited here and well preserved.

From the bus depot it is about a 15 minute walk up to the acropolis but it's an interesting walk through a residential area. There are sign posts but the tourist information was very helpful providing information and a map!! The stadium and amphitheatre are well preserved and its a very peaceful area to take in the history, however, there... More
