The Acropolis is a short walk from Rhodes and is open all the time. There is a nice theatre and the Acropolis itself is impressive. Would recommended.

We spent the afternoon walking around the Acropolis of Rhodes, the ancient stadium and the ancient library. Unfortunately the Acropolis itself was covered in scaffolding and we could not take any decent pictures. The views were amazing and is a great place to see the...More

This is a free attraction that is good for all ages to visit. Its just outside of Rodos old town and is easy to locate. It has free parking. You are free to walk throughout the entire Acropolis.

Free parking and free to enter the site. This isn't a huge place and you can walk around it all in probably 30 minutes. Some nice history to look at, the amphitheatre and track were stand outs for me. Sadly the columns had scaffolding around...More

if we hadn't been on the tour bus I would have been very disappointing. I thought the area let down the historic value of the ruins, but on a plus there is a great view from the top of the hill. didn't see any toilets...More

If you go on the city tour bus you can get off and see the Acropolis, catching the next bus back, make sure you wear good footwear

The first thing to say about this attraction is that the Acropolis itself is covered in scaffolding, disappointing. However, don't let this put you off as the archaeological park is amazing. There is a renovation of an amphitheatre and an ancient Olympic stadium which is...More

I was not sure what to expect as I know some if this was rebuilt. It's great to get a feel for the scale of it all. Well worth the trip in our car. I recommend a visit to all.
