A great view from the top of Rodos is a must for any tourist. One of the largest ancient stadium can be visited here and well preserved.

From the bus depot it is about a 15 minute walk up to the acropolis but it's an interesting walk through a residential area. There are sign posts but the tourist information was very helpful providing information and a map!! The stadium and amphitheatre are well preserved and its a very peaceful area to take in the history, however, there... More

Well, it is an amazing site of an extraordenary size. It is for free and you can enter almost every part of it. So, if you consider that it's been there for a couple thousend of years and now you are there it gives you a very special feeling. You can basically dive into history... However there is very little... More

Nothing interesting for me here. Few stones and they think about it as a "palace" or what it was. I saw more interesting places.

Not on the tourist maps and not signposted so couldn't find it. It shouldn't be this difficult everything else was reasonably well signposted and easy to find!

Absolutely loved wandering around these ruins, I'm not sure why they aren't higher up on the list of things to do in Rhodes. It's free to get in and easily accessible by car/ taxi. We visited just before the sun went down which was great as it was virtually empty and cool enough to comfortably walk up the steps!

Italians have done big job fixing the acropolis, but maybe it's just too "done". The view is great to both east coast and west coast.
