    Absolutely amazing
I'd highly recommended visiting the farma of rhodes. Totally unique petting zoo. We went in the enclosure of the emu's, lemurs and goats and it was the most amazing experience. We went as a family with 2 x 15yr olds and a 21 Yr old, we all enjoyed it and it has been one of the highlights of my holiday. For €12 euros each it was an experience that we are never going to forget. To get this up close and personal with just 1 animal in the UK would be a lot more expensive for just 1 person. I can not recommend it enough, all staff were friendly and highly knowledgeable. Farma of Rhodes Petting Zoo
Thank you so much for your kind words!! We are always happy to hear that our guests are having fun at our zoo! We can't wait to see you again soon!

    AMAZING petting zoo, must visit!!!
What an amazing petting zoo! We went with our 18 month old and she absolutely loved feeding the animals. The talks by the keepers are really good an informative, and the animals are very keen to see you if you have the food which you can buy upon entry. So reasonably priced and a great way to spend a couple of hours if you’re visiting Rhodes. Also if you visit the cafe The menu is all vegetarian/vegan but the do fish fingers and chicken nuggets for kids. Myself and my partner both eat meat but had the mushroom gyros which were to DIE for!!! Couldn’t recommend the park as a whole enough ☺️
Thank you so much! We are happy to hear that you end your family enjoyed your visit and are satisfied with our overall services. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon!

A nice way to spend a couple of cloudy hours.
We only came across this place going to the butterflyless butterfly valley. I am glad we did as after a horrendous half-term week in cloudy Rhodes we were really feeling exasperated and fed up! It is a nice place. Not as much interaction as advertised: only the ostriches (apparently the only 6 trained ostriches in the world that you can touch and take photos with - this was indeed a highlight) and the goats and sheep. My 14 year old enjoyed himself as did I. The place isn’t huge but you can spend an hour or two if you stop for a coffee too. It’s nice to go on an overcast day. €12 €8 under 12’s at my time of visit and extra if you want to buy animal feed.
Thank you very much! We are glad you enjoyed your visit!

very nice experience for all ages
visited the farma of Rhodes with our kids (3 and 7), we all loved it, especially the places where you can interact with the animals. We were able to feed and pet the ostriches and the lemurs, both us and the kids absolutely loved it. they also have a restaurant with what they produce, we did not use it.
Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear that you and your family enjoyed your visit and the interaction with our animals! We are looking forward to seeing you again soon!

    Nice day out!
I think it was really fairly priced & it was a nice interactive experience. It’s not massive, but I think it was the right size for it to be 1:1 with the animals and there were plenty of animals to see. Both the gentleman with the Lemurs and the lady with the Emus were very knowledgable and interesting to listen to. Would highly recommend! Be careful with the goats though! I didn’t feed one of them fast enough and he headbutted me a few times which bruised my leg. It’s ok, but for children I just would advise you to keep an eye on them.
It's great to hear that you had a joyful visit! We hope you consider visiting us again soon!

    Lemurs were amazing
We really loved Farma, it was great to feed all of the animals and they seemed to be well looked after. The lemurs were so fun, you get to feed them and stroke them. Very funny animals and they jump so far! The man who did the lemur talk was very informative and there were breaks for the lemurs during the day. The animals were treated well. A lot of fun feeding the other animals too. Only slight issue was I ordered the pesto pasta dish at the restaurant and it came with goats cheese and didn't mention it on the menu. I have a deep hatred for goats cheese so I was quite shocked when I tasted it. Thankfully the lady kindly brought me one without the cheese. Excellent day out and close to the butterfly valley.
Thank you so much for your kind words!! We are always excited to hear that our guests had fun interacting with our animals and we are particularly happy that you enjoyed your meal (eventually)! We can't wait to see you again soon!

Great experience with ostrivc and lemurs
Very nice family type zoo. Good idea with contact points were real animal lovers tells you about animals, you can go inside, to ostrich and lemurs. Stamd on ostrich eggs. Better go in very morning or closer to the evening when not so hot. There are two wineries on the same road which are nice to visit.
We are glad you enjoyed your visit to our farm!! Your kind words mean so much to us! We are looking forward to seeing you again!

Best experience ever. Highlight of our summer vacation.
Simply amazing. The most interesting and interactive animal experience I've ever had. The kids were thrilled with all the animals. We needed the lemurs, goats, hamsters, rabbits, horses, donkeys, llamas and many more animals and had the time of our lives. Definitely the highlight of our summer vacation. Best time ever. We stayed for more than 4 hours and the kids wanted to stay more. Cannot recommend this enough.
It gives us great joy to hear that your little ones had fun meeting our adorable animals! We are looking forward to seeing you again!

    Family day out
Farma is a excellent wee place were you can feed the animals and pet them, also take photos with them. It was very warm the day we went to visit and the kids enjoyed seeing the animals and getting to feed them and pet them even the grown ups loved it too. I felt sorry for one of the raccoons though because it looks as though he/she has cage boredom pacing in one place. They have a place to eat which does be very busy and they only have one waitress and she's rushed off her feet, but it seems to be a vegetarian/vegan menu so wasn't for us so we just got cold drinks with it being such a hot day. On the coach back we had a grasshopper that got on and travelled back into town.
Thank you very much for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your experience at our farm and hope to see you again soon!

Highly interactive and charming (petting) zoo.
Small, but highly interactive (petting) zoo. Different animals (monkey, donkey, ostrich, camel, ...) which you can feed and interact with. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Feels like they genuinely care for the animals. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit as well. Overall, very good experience for 1-2 hours.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We're delighted you enjoyed visiting our petting zoo and found our staff friendly and enthusiastic! Thank you for choosing us, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future!

We were so glad to come here today. We had read that the farm had been affected by the forest fire in August and we were very keen to show our support and congratulate them on getting open again so quickly.
We stroked and fed lots of lovely animals; ostriches, cheeky goats, donkeys, ponies, the camel and lots of deer. And the lemurs were a real hit.
I'd recommend the cafe for ostrich and boar burgers, although due to the fire, they are on a limited menu at present. But you can still have an ostrich omelette.
Please visit. The owners lost their house in the fire but are still working flat out for the animals.

The petting zoo is very well organized and the animals look healthy. It is a small zoo but you can spend as much time as you like interacting with the animals.
They recently had a fire and lost 21 animals which was very sad to hear. So, there is a lot of transition taking place.
We wanted to support them to rebuild and reconstruct so we went there.
Don't give the ostriches all your corn. Save some for the goats, deer , and boars down the lane.
The sad part was at the end of the zoo where animals are crammed behind cages which we cannot even see. The lemurs are housed there (temporarily, I hope) and looked absolutely miserable. It was so disheartening to see them surrounded completely with stone walls and metal cages. I hope they will be moved back to their greener enclosure soon.
Our kids enjoyed feeding all the animals and getting to know their quirky personalities. We spent about 3 hours there.
The cafe, at the end, was very shady and welcoming after a hot day in the sun. We had some nice drinks there and enjoyed our sojourn with the animals.

Thank you very much! We are doing our best to keep our animals safe and restore their home after the devastating fires hit our area. Lemurs are temporary placed in the cage because their enclosure was destroyed and has to be rebuilt!

Lovely few hours spent here on our final day in Rhodes. Only 10 minutes from the airport so works well for those with an afternoon/evening flight. Came here for the kids and was one of the highlights of their holiday. It’s not huge, but unique in that you are encouraged to pet and feed all the animals. The children fed and petted the ostriches, camels and lemurs and had the best time. A good few hours can be whiled away here, enjoying the company of the animals. The children went into the Ostrich enclosure and held an Ostrich egg - not something I thought my daughter would dare do, but the friendly guide went in with them and was very encouraging and knowledgeable. We also met the owner who shared his passion for animals and how he loves seeing the children all have fun. Definitely a family feel about the place which was nice. Would recommend.

We visited in the morning, so there were only 3 other people.

Animals are very friendly, once they see you’ve got cup of veggies (2€) they come running. Ostriches (many, they’re bred there and there’s a restaurant full of ostrich theme food so imagine... ), donkeys, kangaroos, camels (really small living area), pigs, all kinds of poultry and goats you can walk freely with.. one chicken in the cage limping pretty bad :( paid 7€ for adult.

To be honest we have visited so many zoos wildlife park safari parks, so we have a real soft spot for seeing animals so Farma was one of the main reasons for going to Rhodes. So expectations were high! Spoiler: It did not disappoint!
There is literally nowhere start to describe how awesome farma is! After you pay for entry there is an “option” to buy food, please budget to buy loads at, a couple of euros per pot buy as much as you can it will make the day soooooooooo special!!!
So for literally 3 euros you can have a bundle of corn in your hands and have a massive ostrich scoffing the lot! Or loads of other animals but the derpy birds are our fav!
Then as you walk down you get to the lemur enclosure, in small groups you get really really up close to lemurs as you sit with them getting fed!!! This is first time in my life I have ever had a Lemur hat!! they literally climb over you
The family run restaurant has everything you had one for the family. And obviously being in Greece they have the chicken Nuggets that places like McDonald's can only dream of being able to serve. The ostrich omelette was absolutely sublime,

The gift shop obv’s we bought the tea shirts but please save some pennies; the amazing ostrich egg artwork. They should literally charge entry just to see the exquisite egg art! How its done I have no clue!

this was an experience that nowhere can recreate. We will talk about this day for ever!
Thank you xx

We fed and stroked the Ostriches which was an amazing experience, the lady was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable entering the enclosure.
We then got to feed the horses, dokeys, goats, warthogs and camels. The food was only €2 and lasted for all the animals which was great value. We then got to enter the lemur enclosure where the guy told us lots about them and let the lemurs climb on us. Overall all the staff were very friendly, the animals are well looked after and its was amazing value for money! Will definitely be back when we next come to Rhodes!

Our excursion was cancelled, so we rented a car and just drove around Rhodos to find nice spots to visit. I read about the petting zoo before on the internet and I am grateful we visited it.

The staff was really nice. Especially the woman who was working with the ostriches. She explained a lot about these animals and was extremely nice and open for every question. We are really happy we decided to go to this experience!

Would visit next time, hope we could pet the rabbits and guinea pigs in the future as well ;-)

Visiting yesterday for the first time the Peeting Zoo, i was amazed by the work done by the owners to give again life to the place who unfortunately burned last year due to the big heat wave. All is done with a lot of love. Very nice natural decoration with wood and stone with a small stone church in the middle of the Park. You can enjoy there a lot of different animals, a lot of Ostrich, different birds, peacock, rabbit, donkeys, wild goat, camel, horse, wild boar, deer, the wonderful Lama and the impressive parc of the racoon. Souvenir shop, small coffee/restaurant for your break and a kid place.Everything to spend a great moment with your family or in couple!!!

Thank you very much for your visit! Indeed Farma of Rhodes went through many difficulties due to the large fire that struck Rhodes island last year. But with your love and support, we had the strength not only to take care of the animals but also to make the Farma even better than before! Thanks again for visiting us!

We were not sure if it was worth visiting it because we were very disappointed with butterfly valley, but it was AMAZING and we were all extremely glad we visited it.
All the staff was very nice, especially lady with ostriches and Panos, who let us hang out with lemurs and enjoy the lemur life. :)
I really really recommend visiting the petting zoo, it was one of the best days ever (not just on Rhodes) and I’m really happy we decided to go.
