About
With a shallow seabed and gentle waters, Tsambika Beach is a great swimming spot, especially for beginners and families with young children. Water sports like jet skiing and parasailing are on offer, and kids and adults alike will love the inflatable water parks. Bars and restaurants dot the beach, and shower and bathroom facilities are available. Get in early to secure a sunbed front row by the sea. Above the beach sits Tsambika Monastery, accessible via a steep road and stairway. This historic landmark is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and many people journey here seeking blessings of health and fertility. – Tripadvisor

    Lovely beach
One of the nicest beaches we've visited in Rhodes. 2x Sunbeds+ Umbrella from 15e per set. Few nice bars and restaurants around, beautiful landscape, great for taking photos.

I have visited this restaurant many times
Tsambika beach remains the best beach on the island of Rhodes and Alamo beach restaurant on the beach itself will not disappoint. Once you have visited this restaurant, you will never go anywhere else. I believe these people have other restaurants on the island, make for one and see for yourself?

    Must visit beach
A great beach. The chairs are €20 per umbrella which I think is reasonable considering the quality of the seats. The water sports on site are affordable and very fun. There are restaurants and shops available to pick up drinks and snacks which is handy. However, it’s unfortunate that there is not a non-smoking area. There was a couple near us who was smoking continually disturbing the peace of many people sat near them.

    Great experience
Seats: 20€ for 2 of them and an umbrela per day which is quite fair considering they are quite big and nice The beach overall was amazing, very clean, showers, changing rooms, the water was extremely clean and it was amazing to stay in the sea and see mountains in your left and right. Water sports around with quite cheap prices. I have enjoyed with my friends the waterpark in the sea. Very friendly staff, we had the same guy each day, he always checked with us how we are, if everything is good. If you ever see this review I am talking about you “brother”. Overall a great experience

    Best beach in Rhodes
Tsambika Beach is the best beach in Rhodes with calm green waters and fine golden sand. You can rent sunbeds and an umbrella for 20 Euros. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the sun. There is free parking.

    Good but bring change !
Nice place but bring change !!!! Bathroom cost 50 cent and the woman who you give the money to refuses to give you your change if you overpay. Still had a great time and lots of activities to do.

    Amazing
AMAZING - I must go for anybody visiting the island. Clean and luke warm water, good service on the beach as shower, toilett, food drinks and icecream. 20 euro for 2 seats with thick madress, parasoll and table. The water is not deep and perfect for families with small children. Big parking for free.

    Tsambika beach
The beach and see is the best in south Rhodes beautiful sand and the sea is clear warm and perfect . The beach beds I thought were exceptionally cheap 30 euros for 3 and were comfy. The beach bars were very good . Only downside is how overcrowded the beach is very very busy and service in said bars suffers . However would definitely return

    Great day at the beach
Great day at the beach with some nice touches to keep you comfortable and the teenagers entertained all day! We arrived early about 10:30 and it was quiet but to be fair there was still some spare loungers when we left late afternoon. We paid 25 euros for two lounges & umbrella in the 2nd row (1st row was 30 and further back on some old loungers 20.) They were really well looked after wooden loungers with thick padding. There is a waiter service for food or drink or you can visit one of the two beach bars. The food was delicious and reasonable (chicken wrap 11 euros). There were two giant inflatable water parks for the kids. We paid 15 euros per person for unlimited 4 hour access. Would thoroughly recommend.

    Lovely, picturesque beach
We drove here because we had booked the inflatable course at Bloom Waterpark. Sunbeds were 15 Euros for 2 with umbrella. There was loads of parking available towards the bottom end, but it looked to quite busy after 11am at the top part. Long sandy beach, which is in quite a picturesque bay. We had lunch at one of the snack bars, which was reasonably priced. Water seemed to be quite salty here, but otherwise a good spot for snorkelling, water sports and swimming.

Drove here in our hire car from the hotel on the recommendation of a taxi driver. Easy to find and plenty of free parking.

Helpful friendly staff hiring out loungers and umbrellas which were 10 euros per pair per day. For an additional 5 euros per day you can hire a safe box, what a great idea. All well spaced out to enable social distancing.

The beach is very clean, beautiful sand as far as you can see. The water is shallow for a long way and really clear.

There's water sports available.

The restaurant /cafe was terrible food. There's places to buy ice creams and cold drinks.

Definitely recommend a visit here.

We found this beach by chance as we had hired a car. It is a beautiful, sandy beach and nicer than the main beach in Faliraki. Lots of free parking.

There is water sports available, plenty of sunbeds at €10 for a pair and umbrella and reasonably priced cafes which will deliver to your sunbed as well as a few changing rooms along the beach.

Absolutely beautiful beach. Its fairly shallow for about 30 metres or so and a sandy seabed.
The only negatives are the price of the sunbeds and restaurant prices. We paid 25 euros for 2 beds and a parasol ,pretty shocking. There are about 5 eateries on the beach and all of them were similarly high prices.
For those two reasons I wouldn't visit again.
Maybe best to take a packed lunch and just put your towels down on the beach.

We booked a trip here to sea if we'd prefer calm, clear seas and sandy beaches. We did love it but I am glad we chose the rougher Ialyssos beach. The sunbeds are very expensive at €10 each. And there weren't as many watersports as advertised by the TUI rep who sold us the transfer €16 each. Supposed to have paddle boarding/para sailing etc. But there was only a crazy sofa €15 each and a kiddies blow up obstacle course. But the sea is amazingly clear and calm and the sand (although too hot to walk on) was fine and golden. Plenty of options for food - not cheap but good quality. There were showers, not many and considerable queues. i would recommend you get here early for a good choice of sunbed or cabana.

Didn’t think we would find a beautiful, clean sandy beach in Rhodes island where most beaches are full of stones. This one isn’t and it is perfect for kids too. Beach beds + umbrella cost 10€ but you can bring your own sheets and stay for free. Water is not deep close to the shore

It’s a really nice beach but it’s spoilt by the price of the sun loungers. I feel as though a beach should be somewhere that anyone can enjoy without worrying about the cost. I’m in a position where I don’t have kids so €20 isn’t the end of the world, but if you have a family of 4 then it could be too expensive (which isn’t right IMO)

If you stay in Kolymbia you must take a 15e taxiride to this beach. Lowly sandbeach and there are two "water parks" to enjoy. We chose the one further away (Bloom or something was it called). By the way if you walk a bit you don't need to pay 20e for two sunbeds! You get them for 10e. There is a nice beach bar also. Good to have a taxi telephone number with you so that you can call them when uou want to leave. There is a bus also but once a day..

We were a little concerned about the price of the loungers so when we arrived we drove over halfway down the carpark. As soon as we walked onto the beach we saw loungers for 5€ each, very reasonable. The water was crystal clear and was shallow for a long way out. Our teens did the inflatable park for 1hr 10€pp. We also did a family sofa for 50€, this was great fun. Even though the beach is huge it didn't feel crowded or busy.
