MBC Travel has been an intrinsic and invaluable part of our holidays to Tilos and Halki, firstly with Laskarina Holidays and continuing with Nissia Holidays.
From the booking of transfers (thank you Litsa, a real pleasure to meet you in person last year), to arrival at the airport, transport to the ports and then in reverse on the return journey, they are consistently a 100% superbly organised company.
No matter what time the airport arrival there is always a familiar smiling face to say welcome and take care of all the details. Delays due to air traffic strikes, airplane malfunction (thank you Thomas Cook!) or volcanic ash clouds or earlier than scheduled departures from the islands due to bad weather being forecasted have all been taken care off with boat/ferry tickets, taxis where necessary and overnight accommodation booked as appropriate.
On one memorable occasion following an air traffic control strike with so many planes arriving in such quick succession the luggage conveyer belts ground to a halt beneath the sheer volume of suitcases. There was absolute chaos both inside and outside the airport terminal but we were welcomed with smiles and reassurances and, once everyone and their luggage was accounted for, we were taken into Rhodes town for complimentary food and drink at what must have been 3 or 4 am in the morning before being transported to Kamiros Skala port for a specially commissioned boat to take us to our destination. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommencing MBC Travel and hope they continue to be our travelling companions for many more years to come.
