We stumbled upon this place after visiting Pyli. Not expensive overall but a little bit more than I would expect to pay given what it there. I think it was €5-6 for 2 adults and a 10 year old. There are basically 3 rooms to walk through and that’s it. All of the items have been donated from local people. Not much in the way of descriptions. The bed was impressive!
Lovely little village just in the square though with eateries and a good atmosphere.

Ok , to start with I genuinely love history in all forms so when I hired a car we made the trip .
We walked in the one door through a wall and out out the other door ! Trip over 😂
All good and interesting but I couldn’t help thinking that someone had inherited a house off their nan and instead of spending thousands doing it up they just put a brown sign on it and opened a museum!
If your in the village then pop in , don’t be making any special journeys though !

Pyli, in Kos is so a nice village, I like the old traditional houses with old stones and a little garden with lemon trees and plant of Basil; I saw this old house and wish to have one like that in Kos; There are old music instrument, an old bed with many lace, nice to see.

amazing house - more in Kefalos tho than Pyli - look for a small sign in the centre of Kefalos then up a small road, house is of a 100 yr old Greek family living qtrs etc - the family serve you lunch, the grandma cooks greek food just for you - we were the only people there and they serve you lots of traditional dishes fresh - extremely friendly and really welcome your custom, no prices but you give them a suitable amount of euros. the grandma dose not spk english but her husband and niece do.
It was really special moment of our holiday!!

Sadly too early in the season for it to be open, but the assorted spa water fountains compensated for the loss.
