When we drove here, we were the only ones on the beach, for at least 3-4 hours. It was a fantastic little find and we spent a good 5-6 hours here. There seemed to be 2 beaches, 1 smaller cove and 1 larger beach in a man made fishermans cove. There is also a great little fish restaurant there for lunch. This was much better than the supposed 'Paradise' Beach but we were looking for a more private, tranquil place so it suited us!

We spent a day here after my husband went out for a run and found this haven of peacefulness and crystal clear waters.
We swam out around the tiny islet and snorkeled ...fascinated by the beauty of the fish and sea urchins..
It's quite simply P E R F E C T.

Beautiful scenery with crashing waves so really in contrast to opposite side of the island.there is a lovely calm lagoon and small beach to relax on and the fish restaurant is excellent-great pit stop for lunch and an hour of swimming if you have a car and are touring island-highly recommended!

Visited here with my parents at the end of a 2 week stay in Kos. Just wish we'd found it sooner! Was lovely and tranquil and the lady we hired the sunbeds from was friendly and helpful. Would love to visit again.

A little bit off the beaten track - car access is essential.

A picturesque small fishing harbour with small beach ( with sunbeds and parasols ) and a good fish taverna. Ample free parking. Well worth a visit.

Limnionas beach is on the north side of the Island, when you come around the last bend, it is spread out before you, a picturesque little cover with shallow water, so again great for kids. Beds and Umbrellas are availabe to rent, and there is also a great taverna right next to the beach with great food, its speciallity being fresh fish, if the weather is good and the fishermen have been able to go out and fish.

The view on the way down was truly beautiful as many people have said in other reviews. However the beach is dirty and the bay is ok for a dip and is sheltered from the waves by the harbour but for snorkelling it’s not ideal as it’s very murky water. I like quiet beaches and this promised to deliver that however the old uncomfortable badly maintained sun beds (€6) and the lack of beach maintenance (clearing up cigarettes and plastic) really spoil what couple be a nice location.

What a lovely cove to just take a picnic and relax - however there is a lot of seaweed so if you (like me) have a phobia of seaweed it's not a place for swimming - the cove waters are so calm that I use an inflatable to float over it - the waters outside the cove were very choppy but the water in the cove was still - when the wind blows it does get very very dusty that was the time to leave for us, we didn't use the restaurant up the hill but have heard good reports of the food
