We were looking forward to going to this church, almost in the centre of Kos town behind the Agora (market), and seeing all the icons, paintings etc, unfortunately, when we got there we could not get inside. However the church building itself is quite impressive and very clean, well worth having a look at, open or closed.

The title of this review and the photos of church do not match.
Submitted photos are showing Church of Agia Paraskevi in the center of Kos town.
If you are thinking of visiting Church of Agia Paraskevi please do, as it is beautiful inside and out and worth visiting weather you are Eastern Orthodox or not.

According to the name, Paraskevi (Greek: Παρασκευή, Paraskeuē, literally "Preparation", and also the name of the "day of preparation" for the Sabbath, i.e. Friday)

Hence, on Fridays , the church is publicly open for liturgy.

It may be open other days as well, but I am not sure of these hours.
