We were looking forward to going to this church, almost in the centre of Kos town behind the Agora (market), and seeing all the icons, paintings etc, unfortunately, when we got there we could not get inside. However the church building itself is quite impressive and very clean, well worth having a look at, open or closed.

The church from the outside is beautiful, and very well maintained, we was on a quick shopping trip to kos I'm just sorry we never had the time to go inside as the kids was moaning to buy more gifts and get back to the beach hopefully next time

If you are thinking of visiting Church of Agia Paraskevi please do, as it is beautiful inside and out and worth visiting weather you are Eastern Orthodox or not. According to the name,... More
