A beautiful drive up a 250 meter winding road with pine trees either side got us to Filerimos Monastery. 6 Euros entry cost allowed us to see this 15th century monastery built by the Knights of St John, that is what google teaches us anyway,...More

Small entrance fee (half price for elderlies if you show passport or driving licence) wonderful vie of Rhodes from the top. Old monastery interesting but not exceptional. Avoid if you don't like birds as there are peacocks everywhere.

We visited twice once on a moped which was a great ride up and once we walked up from Ialysos and ran back!!!! Peacocks everywhere which was very unique and great views to reward your journey from the cross. too tight to pay to go...More

Old monastery, not in operation now, within an archaeological site. Entrance in the site costs 6 euros, children free. Astonishing views all around Rhodes. Attraction of the area the many peacocks.
