Very nice group diving for open-water diver. Departure from the beach in a very good spot, some (though not many) nice fishes and an octopus to conclude the tour

My girlfriend and I ended up on Sifnos quite by accident, having missed getting off the ferry on Milos as we'd intended. Since there were no ferries the next day, we ended up just sticking our nose in the dive shop to see if they could accomodate us. They took us out for an awesome two dives and absolutely rescued us, turning our misfortune into an awesome memory. We absolutely recommend them!

We did a couple of dives in beautiful crystal clear water at Fasolou - next time we'll do more. A very pleasant seascape with quite a few different types of fish including several varieties of wrasse and bream, parrot fish, grouper, jacks, mullet, octopii and squid, Both John and Christina are very professional and good fun.

Ok, here we go... I've always wanted to learn how to scuba dive. While visiting Sifnos, we stopped into Sifnos Diving Center to get some info. Immediately we felt welcomed and taken care of and so we decided to take the plunge. Both Christina, John and other staff members who accompanied and assisted us when we eventually took the 4 day Open Water course were so friendly and amazing that we feel we have made new life line friends. You really feel as if you are in good hands with Christina and John. Safety is of course their number one concern and rightfully so since scuba diving can be risky sport. I also feel that Sifnos and particularly the locations used by the diving center is ideal for learning the skills of scuba diving. I recommended it highly!

If you are new to this then you will enjoy it. They help you with the diving and how to do this and that. Don't expect to see a lot under the water. It is interesting for beginners but if you are experienced it's not that worth it, I guess. Expect to go underwater at about 5-6 meters.

Thank you for your comment. We are happy that you enjoyed your first dive with us. Wish you will continue with diving and get your scuba license soon. Mediterranean sea has her surprises, some days you can see a lot of fish some days less. Beginers usualy dive between 5-6 meters for safty and also to be easy for everyone to do it. For experienced divers we have other dive sites that goes deeper and always have a lot of stuff to see. Wish to see you again and explore more of the underwater world. :-)
