Our GPS took us to the stand he has on another beach... after waiting a few minutes we called to make sure we were in the right spot. He said we were and he’d meet us there. We waited for another 20 minutes and decided to call again. After getting someone to translate they told us to drive another 15 minutes to another beach outside of a hotel( he could have just given us the hotel name) once we arrived 30 minutes late he told us he was giving the boat to someone else and yelled at us for being “late” . We basically had to beg him because we were only in Milos for one day and this was the only activity we had planned. He finally said okay after wasting another 20 minutes of our day light. While my boyfriend was getting the paperwork I went and grabbed a bottle of wine... when I came back with the wine he informed us that I could drink but my boyfriend who was driving could not. This was very important to him and we understood. My boyfriend is not a big drinker anyways so this was not a big deal for him. After driving the small boat with electrical problems around all day we arrived on time to the beach. Before we even pulled in he yelled across the ocean to my boyfriend “Are you drunk?!” We said “no” and continued to check out and get our stuff. I reiterated that I thought I was allowed to drink... he said yes but pointed to my boyfriend who hadn’t had a sip of alcohol and continued to scold him for drinking. Super bizarre and awkward and I don’t know who this guy thinks he is. Worst day we had in Greece by far.

We were yelled at in front of the whole beach when we arrived! Paid 6 hours but they failed to tell us that they changed to 5 hours. After being embarrassed in front of everyone he wanted to charge us an extra 150€ for being 1 hour late, after arguing and showing him that we paid for 6 hours he lowered it to 50€. So we paid it in order to leave. Not worth the money or the headache.

That was one of the worst ever choice for renting a boat in Milos island. The boat was old and dirty (probably Lukas didn’t want to clean it for us) and the awning was out of its place and damaged. When we realized it was damaged, instantly called him for help (while in the ocean) and he told us to tide it harder because he forgot (probably Lukas also didn’t want to tide it for us). All in all, the boat was not value for money, we payed 190€ for a damaged, dirty boat that had a propeller which couldn’t reach enough speed in any case needed (safety speed in case the wind changed) and not even a depth gauge!! Lukas was totally unprofessional and his boat totally the worst choice.

Renting a motor boat without prior boating experience took a bit of courage but I am so glad I did! Our trip around the island was the most memorable experience of our visit in Greece so far. Achilleas provided an excellent orientation and excellent service, making sure I was completely comfortable with the basics of the boat before sending mom and me on our way. Having the motor boat allowed us to explore various small beaches with not a soul in sight, and take in the beautiful blue of the Aegean without lots of other boats and people around. 100% recommend this experience - you won't regret it!

Growing up by the Aegean sea, I had been familiar with all sea activities except riding my own boat. In our honeymoon, my wife and I were recommended this establishment for a solo experience. After gathering enough courage to give it a shot, and following the wind maps (Windy app) to make sure no winds are blowing from the east (we wanted to visit the west coast all the way down to Kleftiko), we decided to reserve a boat. Aside from that we did not know what to expect. The activity began with Lukas explaining, in much appreciated detail for over 45 minutes every aspect of the boat. Mind you, this was going to be my absolute first time. We learnt how and where to drop the anchor, how to navigate the island, how to trim up/down the engine and where to avoid rocks. We were taught how to replace gas if we run out of it, and also had contact via WhatsApp in case anything went bad. Additionally, Lukas was following us via GPS to know our latest location for if we were stuck. Afterwards, he put us on our journey, out of the bay and down south. As a good tourist, we went at full speed down to Kleftiko. It was fun even navigating around big boats to find our little space to anchor down. However, the real fun we discovered was on the way back up, where, realizing we had time and gas, decided to take it slow, discovering every little nook, and beach along the coast. We anchored in little bays that did not have any person in sight for miles. By the end of our 6 hour ride, we were overjoyed, and are still talking about our experience in great appreciation to everybody. I would recommend it to any adventurous couple in a heartbeat.
