We went on a sunset cruise with Sunset Oia. It was 6 hours long and the crew was amazing. Hercules was the captain, the weather was not optimal but it felt so comfortable because of his expertise. Alice and Angel, the crew made us feel so welcome and the food was unbelievable.Thry were funny and informative and worked together to make our experience fantastic. The Sikinos Boat was the nicest catamaran I have ever been on, lots of seating and plenty of room to walk around.

My husband and I together with another couple took this yacht boat out for a 5 hour sea trip. No words to explain the experience we went thru. You are treated like part of the crew, not like a number. The crew and the sailor who calls himself Doctor, know the history of the place so well, and give it over with utmost patience. To show extent of their care, my hubb was afraid to jump off boat at one of the destinations, so a crew member jumped in with him and guided him along.
Part of the amazing experience they grill and cook you the most delicious lunch/dinner on board and serve it with such class.
Was a true awesome trip, and recommended for all

Our hotel coordinated our catamaran cruise for us and we were beyond thrilled with our experience! Captain Chris and the crew of the Angelica were extremely attentive to our every need and gave us a amazing cruise through and around the caldera. The lunch the crew prepared for us was hands down the best meal we’ve had while in Greece! Highly recommend Volcano Yachting Luxury Catamaran Cruises!

We booked the semi-private luxury sunset tour on 8/20/18 through our hotel. We only had 24 hours in Santorini and felt this would let us see the whole island. Unfortunately, this company did not deliver as promised. The catamaran is scheduled to sail along the Red beach, the White Beach, the Black Mountain beach and the Light House, Hot Springs, and finally Thirassia. About an hour into the cruise, we stopped at Thirassia. I asked why we arrived here since it was supposed to be our last stop and was informed there was a “schedule change” and we would not be going to the Red beach, the White Beach, the Black Mountain beach or the Light House! I got the feeling if I didn’t ask, the crew would have never told us.

Furthermore, there was 4 children booked (2 my own) and aboard the catamaran, yet there was only 2 life jackets available. I specifically inquired about the life jackets before purchasing the cruise since my daughter needs one and was informed there would be enough on board. My daughter could not swim because there wasn’t enough life jackets.

Lastly, the menu was not as advertised. We did not receive a few items, including sweets as listed on the website and brochure.

This company felt like a bait and switch. I have send several emails and left phone calls. They will not contact me back. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

Dear Guest, As an answer to this malware, unhealthy and provocative comment we would like to inform you, that we were obliged to change the schedule of the cruise due to weather conditions thinking only for the well being and the safety of the passengers. We did not go to the outer southern beaches of the island only after we informed everybody onboard and requested their opinion whether they could withstand heavy weather with high waves, them and their children. All the passengers of the boat decided to stay within calm waters -(with an exemption of yours)- protected by the island of Thyrassia, swim there and enjoy the dinner at the same time. As for the second part of this provocative comment we would like to inform everybody concerned, that we had all the life jackets required by the protocol of the boat, and in any case more than the total number of passengers including the crew. At the given day there were many children on board -(for that same reason we took extra precautions for the heavy weather as mentioned above,in order to not have them sea sick)- and you complained because your kids didn’t go first swimming and had to wait for the other kids to come out of the water and exchange life jackets. That is because kids life jackets used as floating devices for help in swimming comes in several different sizes according to kid’s ages. After that the problem was resolved as each kid took the right size jacket for his/her age and your kids could and did swim at all stops of the cruise. Concluding, we feel we have cleared all of your provocative comments and provided a formal and justified reply to your review!

My husband and I did the sunset cruise with Volcano Yachting and it was hands down the best experience we could have asked for. The Captain, aka The Doctor, is beyond knowledgeable of the sea and sailing. He makes sure you feel safe, comfortable, and like one of the members of the boat. His crew is so attentive and friendly. They serve you drinks, cook a delicious meal right onboard, and plan out the perfect route for your trip. You learn about different landmarks, can take a swim if you wish, and ride back into the sunset. It’s truly a breathtaking moment you’ll never forget! With all the options out there, don’t waste your time and choose Volcano Yachting. You will not be dissapointed!!

I HIGHLY recommend Volcano Yachting while you are in Santorini. There were plenty of other catamarans when we went on our cruise, but none of them can beat this experience because of the delicious food that Rallia, our hostess, made. It was some of the best food we had on our entire trip! The two deckhands Savvas and Anestis were both so friendly and Captain Michalis made us laugh and was so informative with the different sites we toured. This was one of our favorite experiences during our 2 weeks in Greece.

We booked this cruise via phone call and we were informed by Petros, that we begin at 15:00 from Vlyhada or Oia and go back at 20:00. We began from vlyhada and they came to pick us up from our hotel and made 1 more stop to pick up a couple. We were 7 people in that cruise. The program we knew was; start from Vlyhada marine, go to red beach, white beach, black beach, hot springs, thirassia, oia (and they said that we would stop in every spot) and go off at Oia and return to our hotel with the van. When we arrived at red beach, the captain said we won't stop at red beach because there were too many boats and it was crowded. When we arrived in white beach (about 16:00), because the depth is quite a lot, I saw the other catamarans that had their ropes (remezzo) and we had one also. We were in the sea, for about 10' after arrival, when the host told us that we had to leave in 2' because the fishing boat which's the rope was (!) was coming! So, we reached the catamaran and left! After that, in 10' we arrived in black beach (about 16:40), with amazing black stones and all that, but we didn't stop because they told us there was no place to stop, so we only took pictures and left! Then, we started sailing to Hot springs which was quite a lot and reached Hot springs at about 17:20. We had almost 15' there and left to go to Thirassia. We arrived there at 18:15. Amazing place, amazing waters. We had a swim as the captain was cooking. Petros, on the phone, had told us that the menu contained, salad, BBQ, shrimps and oysters and some more appetizers. Unfortunately, we only had chicken and steak, which is quite odd when you're on a boat. When we finished eating, I asked the captain how much time do we need to reach to Oia and he told me almost 5 hours (!) and that we don't go to Oia as we were informed! So, we started our way back to Vlyhada. After all, we enjoyed the experience as an experience but not the services. The crew was happy and communicative. I don't know if it was an unfortunate moment of the company, so I don't know if I recommend. I believe it was NOT a value for money.

We had a great trip with Volcano yachting. We got to go to Red and white beaches which can only be reached by boat. The crew was very nice. We got to see a stunning sunset over the water. The food was very good and the crew was very nice Since we don't eat seafood they even made a separate pasta without shrimp just for us.

Volcano Yachting provided an incrementally better experience than the numerous Sunset Oia, or other larger service providers, we passed by on our day trip. The Standard day cruise felt like luxury as we toured Santorini, had an open bar of beer and wine, swam in a hot spring and to awesome black, red, and white beaches. Maria and the catamaran crew were very hospitable and made the trip very fun! They provided door-to-catamaran transfers to and from. This boat had fewer people than the other companies which crammed people into their boat. I would recommend Volcano Yachting specifically over any other provider and the experience to anyone regardless of which you choose, worth every euro!
