Beautiful village with a maze of stunning backstreets to walk through.
We took the bus here from Naoussa and enjoyed walking around early in the morning before setting off on the Byzantine trail walk.
The trail was easy to find and recommended if you enjoy walking in stunning countryside.
Plan to spend some time here if visiting Paros as it's a unique and special place.

We drove here and parked up in the shade of the trees at the top and walked down.

Stopping off for a coffee n a cake we then wandered around the typical Greek alleyways until we arrived at the church. It is truly stunning inside although you cannot take photos and the 360 degree views outside are really amazing.
We saw quite a few people on the Byzantine trail and would happily give this a go if we return.

The village has a really quiet vibe with enough shops to add interest and places to eat anything from just an ice cream to a full blown meal. We had our best meal in Greece to date here!

We were staying in Naoussa and took a bus ride to Lefkes. The buses on these islands are really great for getting around. We stopped at a local cafe right near the main church to ask directions to the Byzantine trail. He was very accommodating and gave us a map he had printed. The trail was easy to find, it's about 3.5 miles long with no outs along the way but good even for beginners. It gets hot on the trail with barely any shade so be sure to have plenty of water. When we walked the trail there were very few fellow hikers. At the end of the trail we walked into the nearby village bought some extra water and took a bus to Prodomos and had a wonderful meal sitting outside along the harbor and local fshing boats. Then we grabbed a bus to Parikia and another bus to Naoussa where we were staying. Back in time to catch the beautiful sunset with a glass of wine. What a remarkable day. All along the way meeting very friendly locals and trying to take in all the beauty of the island.

Lovely, stunning, charming. Whatsoever is true for Lefkes. Former capital of Paros during Middle ages. The village retains typical character, serenity and laid-back atmosphere play prime here. The windmills dotted around, Cathedral of Agia Triada, winding narrow streets and number of taverns are main draw. The must is to do the Byzantine Trail from Lefkes to Prodromos which takes around one hour / 3KM . It is better to start in Lefkes than the other way around as it is mostly walking down, just for about 500 meters up. The best is takes a bus, stroll the village, hike the trail and return by bus from Prodromos or even from Piso Livadi.

Lefkes left the most beautiful memory on our 10 days- 3 islands trip (Mykonos, Naxos and Paros).
Almost double smaller than Naxos, Paros has more to offer and we liked it more.
Apart the two main seaside towns of Parikia and Naousa, Lefkes is a jewel nestled in the island's very center.
Just park your car outside the village and stroll these beautiful maze of winding whitewashed streets with many tiny shops, restaurants and bars and small chapels around, dominated by the Orthodox Agia Triada Cathedral.
Count on around 2-3 hours for a memorable, leisure walk visit.

We parked our car outside of Lefkes and discovered this beautiful village by foot. Countless alleys, all nicely and well maintained. On our way to the church we found just opposite a tiny little coffee: Kafeneio Marigos👌💥😀 Konstantinos served us their owned made cakes and we philosophied about actual situation in Paros and how a better future could look like😁

Topical Cycladic village. Extremely clean and friendly.
I highly recommend a visit in the early morning if you are in Páros. Don’t forget to visit the cafe by the big church and meet Konstantinos the owner.. he serves the best lemonade in town.
Truly a gem.

About 15 minute drive from naoussa. Up in the hills. Cute village with multiple crisscrossing paths flowing through white washed buildings dotted with blue an green shutters/ doors and bright red
/pink/white bougainvillea. Beautiful view down to the sea. quaint shops. small cafes. large church in Central Square. Great place to spend a few hours. picturesque

There is a lot to love about this beautiful, car-free village. There are interesting shops, beautiful architecture with lots of winding streets to wander through, nice restaurants with a view over the village to the mountains, and it is a good starting point for a hike on the Byzantine path. This is an interesting hike over a marble road built in 1,000AD leading over the mountains to the neighboring village of Prodromos (also a lovely village to spend some time in). It is a little challenging to find the starting point for the hike. The Byzantine Path seems to head off in a couple of different directions from Lefkes, but if you wander around enough you will see the signs pointing to Prodromos which seems to be the nearest village to hike to from Lefkes (it appears that you could also hike in the other direction and reach the fishing village of Drios but we did not do this and I found it hard to find much detailed information about the path, everything I found talked about the hike from Lefkes to Prodromos, so this is what we did). It took about an hour or an hour and a half to reach Prodromos. It is an easy path to follow, with no intersecting paths and it lands you directly in the village. It was HOT, very little shade along the hike and no where to stop for water until you reach Prodromos, so get an early start and be prepared with a good supply of water. We spent some time wandering around Prodromos, had a drink in a cute cafe, visited the beautiful cemetery and then hiked back and enjoyed a delicious lunch in one of the restaurants on the road out of Lefkes. A very enjoyable morning. We came back another day to spend some more time in Lefkes and do a little shopping. Definitely worth a visit.

For us a must to see this idyllic spot on our way to noussa. Great to combine as you automatically pass it. And it is the total opposite.

A tracking path is offered that should be very nice to do. But we had not the equipment (sport shoes at least) with us. There are signs that makes it easy and you can not oversee the start.

Within the center there are no cars and it is a Greek oasis for us. Close to the church there is a small restaurant to rest where most of the things are prepared by the mother/grandmother.
