- Elisa fParma, Italy487 contributionsGolden Beach is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches of Paros, it is located south of Parikia. You can arrive by car (I do not recommend the scooter because although the roads are all well paved, there are climbs / curves and the means here are not well maintained ... in short, it is riskier then better the bike) bus (2/3 €) or taxi (the price depends on the starting point). Here also the sea point is spectacular, you will find several beach clubs (offer restaurant, bar and shower service as well as umbrella with 2 sunbeds, towels separately for a fee 5/10 €) , each has a convenient parking (price included in the cost umbrella). Prices for a full day are average on the island between 40/80€ depending on the level of the beach and also the row of umbrellas you will melt. In the busiest months I recommend booking online. On the left you will find the free beach , you can still access the beach bar and restaurant . Remember that here we are in a windy area and in fact you will find the opportunity to do windsurfing and other water and wind sports.Visited August 2024Traveled with friendsWritten January 28, 2025
- SasyPortici, Italy563 contributionsBeautiful bay, well equipped lido (must be booked weeks in advance), consumption costs on average of other lidos, but offers higher quality. Upon arrival they immediately opened the account, they did not want 1€ in advance, we paid everything in the end. Even the good food, we had simple club sandwiches, much appreciated the draft beer. Bay quite sheltered from the wind, even on windy days. Recommendation and return gladly. Preferable to come before 10.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 17, 2024
- JacopaCMGenoa, Italy18 contributionsPretty fine golden yellow sand, spotless fresh and transparent water even in July, large spaces so there is plenty of room to watch the view and stay in peace, of course, depends on how the wind turns. If you do not want to take the bus that arrives very close, it is better to equip yourself with a rental car or a quad bike, they are easily found all over the island. If you want there are equipped beaches to us asked 50 euros for two sunbeds and a parasol for a day. If you do not want to pay or if you prefer autonomy there are large stretches of free beach I would say the majority. For food, the restaurant is quite expensive but no one prevents us from bringing sandwiches or getting up and eating somewhere else the island is full of clubs of all kinds and for all budgets even if compared to a few years ago the prices have doubled. Definitely worth a visit.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten December 19, 2024
- Jodi NicholsonNewcastle, Australia15 contributionsThis was definitely our favourite beach in Paros, white sand and clear water. We actually drove here twice from Naoussa. We really wished we stayed this side of the island as it was so beautiful and we will definitely next time. The water was so clear and refreshing, you could go out really far as there was a sand band where we were . We did a lot of playing and exploring looking at fish, which was really fun. We had beach beds with umbrellas which were €40 for the day and we were happy with that as we loved the service and food what was the restaurant which was ran by Golden Beach Hotel resort. The prices were so much better than Naoussa and I think the food was better too. We also visited Drios too which isn’t far from golden Beach and that was stunning.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 16, 2024
- Marco MMilan, Italy113 contributionsIt is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and its fame is well deserved. Located along the southeast coast, this stretch of golden sand bathed in crystal clear waters is a true paradise for those who love the sea and water sports. The beach is long and spacious, perfect for relaxing walks or finding your own corner of tranquility, although it can get quite crowded during the summer months. The real Attraction of Golden Beach is windsurfing: the wind conditions here are ideal, so much so that the beach hosts international competitions and several surf schools. If you are passionate about water sports, this is the place for you. Even beginners can have fun, thanks to the presence of qualified instructors. However, it should be taken into account that the prices of bathing establishments are a bit high, especially when compared to other beaches on the island. This can be a small disadvantage for those looking for a cheaper experience. Nevertheless, the relaxed atmosphere and quality of service offered by the establishments partly offset the cost. The average is 50€ for an umbrella set and 2 sunbeds. It is easily accessible and conveniently located parking at the sides of the beach!Visited August 2024Traveled with friendsWritten August 18, 2024
- giorgia c33 contributionsBeautiful beach equipped for every need, it is also possible to stay on the free beach, but on sunny days an umbrella saves you! Prices absolutely on average for excellent level services. Golden beach Restaurant and Bar an excellent beach club to spend the day; yesterday Santa Maria: beautiful sea but terrible services. It's worth the slightly longer journey by bus which splits the entire island carrying the turia It is in contact with the most authentic part of Paros. Not to be missed!Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 13, 2024
- marcoTurin, Italy25 contributionsLong beach with golden sand Beach clubs alternate with stretches of free beach We rented an umbrella with two sunbeds at Blu Beach for a total of €50 (lunch can be ordered and consumed directly on the beach)Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 30, 2024
- G.PLivorno, Italy836 contributionsI give four stars only for the prohibitive prices that there are on the shores of this beach .. I state that there are many beach bars that offer beach umbrella + sunbed rental services, but the prices .. we have made the rounds of all those that there are (the beach is very long, so there is definitely room, and is alternated by areas of free beach and beach bar) and prices range from 50 € up to 80 € for a beach umbrella in the front row .. only the last establishment to the south say has the set that costs 40 € and possibility to rent single beds for a moderate price .. but I say, it is MADNESS. There are also kitesurf/windsurf/sup/canoe schools that offer lessons or rentals. The beach, however, is very beautiful, with golden sand and clear and clean waterVisited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 19, 2024
- Vacationer7053543 contributionsWe were greeted by Thodoris, he showed us to the loungers and proceeded to give us the best service we've ever gotten! From his perfectly timed drink orders to his outgoing personality, he really did brighten our day! The food and drinks definitely quenched our hunger/thirst while we were on the bench. He really made our experience more enjoyable! We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun beach day!Visited June 2024Traveled with friendsWritten June 2, 2024
- Anne V10 contributionsChili beach with soft music lounge. Big comfortable mattresses. Ambiance nature. Very good service. Very friendly staff. A nice surprise for those who want some fun away from the overcrowded Beach Club show off. Soft to in a sheltered cove.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 24, 2024

This beach has something for everyone from the gently sloping sand that allows families to enjoy the water without fears of children getting out of their depth to the full range of sun worshipping. You can chose to stake a place for free or pay for two sun beds and an umbrella, they are more expensive the nearer the front you go but still 20 euros cheaper than any of the other more populated beaches.
There is room for everyone here, the sand is golden thus it’s name and there is space for families to play bat n ball or for those more adventurous to try windsurfing although you probably need to book in advance? The experienced windsurfers are great to just watch, the speeds they go at are mesmerising.
If you fancy a walk you can walk along the coastal path from here to Dryos beach which in itself is a pleasant stroll.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Potentially beautiful and long beach ruined in my opinion by beach bars and chaos! Sunbeds from 50 euros to 80 euros per day! At 17 pm we asked if you could take 2 sunbeds for 2 hours and they said yes at a cost of 50 euros!
Avoid there are beautiful beaches and little frequented 10 minutes by car.

Unfortunately things are going in the wrong direction with Paros, extremely expensive, sunbeds now 70 euros on the front line, behind 60 euros. It's ridiculous. Prices of food the same, a simple Greek salad, 15 euros... for a few leaves of lettuce, cucumber and a tomato...
In addition, too many tourists now come which gives the previously quiet Paros a completely different, negative experience.

Beautiful breezy sea and possibility of water sports. But that's it... uncomfortable sunbeds attached all very dilapidated for 45 euros, umbrella and two sunbeds .. too expensive for what it offers. The unqualified beach bar, little food tiny portions and poorly cooked. 10 euros a salad of only green leaves, we ask for bread comes of the bad pancarrè .. absurd bill for the quality and quantity of food. Absolutely not recommended, bad experience, among the worst ever made. The beach is not worth the experience

White sand beach in Paros. A large beach, with a long stretch of sand, with some places with sun loungers and umbrellas, although expensive, ranging from 30 to 80 euros. Transparent water and calm sea. Lots of people windsurfing.

The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear and shallow for a long way out, great for wading and hanging out. Good options to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas or to find open beach and claim space for free.
We sat at the Golden Beach Hotel which worked out great for us. Drinks and lunch were reasonably priced and the service was very good. Bathrooms and showers nearby. Beach beds were $20 / pair and patio chairs were $15 / pair.
There is a windsurfing shop right next door that offers lessons. Tons of beginners all day but when I went to sign up, they were booked for the day. If you are interested, book early.
The bus from Naoussa is cheap and easy, the bus stop is just off the beach.

Marabou:
Uncomfortable beds, stations attached! cost 40; 20 euros if you take them in the bar.
Bar poorly stocked, not kitchen
Everything closed and it's mid-July
Next rise prices but also quality

Clean, sandy beach with beachbars and water sports choices. Should you don't want to pay the extremely pricey sunbeds (50 first row, 40 from third and back!), there is little space among the bars, so I suggest that you get there early. There is a mini market by the bus stop, where you can get cold refreshment. I actually returned on my way back and enjoyed a cold beer tin the back yard, while waiting for the bus.

Golden Beach is an about 700m long and quite wide sandy beach in the southeast of Paros. It is also fully organised with plenty of umbrellas, sunbeds, cafés and restaurants. The sand is very fine and gets easily blown into one's face with a strong meltemi wind.
The water stays shallow for quite some time, thus it is an ideal beach for children. Further out are yellow markers, separating the area for swimmers and for windsurfers, for which this beach is also known. At the southern end of the beach are some cliffs, above which goes a nice path in direction of Dryos.

Golden beach is a long sandy beach set on Paros east coast, overlooking the island of Naxos.
It's a fine sand clear water beach with several bars along it offering sunbeds. However, I prefer the free parts, away from the crowds and here're plenty of them.

We will be visiting in a few weeks and my daughter has celiac disease. Any restaurants on this beach have a gluten free menu?

I agree not a nudist beach but definitely women going topless. Lots of families and young children. It does get a bit windy there so I prefer Drios beach if too windy at Golden Beach.
