Is not worth it especially in August that is full, understaffed and the service very slow.. The beach is just OK, really small and full of sunbeds. An umbrella and 2 sunbeds cost 20€ and the beach bar is self-service… it just doesnt make any sense to pay that much and have no service! We had booked a set and we were asked to be there by 11:30 but if you want to get something for breakfast or snack you have to wait until 12:30 that the snack bar opens! Also the photos we saw on monastiri beach bar instagram page do not match with the reality…

Arrived here with the first boat from Naoussa. It is high season and we know facilities on the island are over subscribed but we just managed to get sunbeds for our family. At 10.30. The first 5 rows of sunbeds had been booked by email!

We hadnt eaten breakfast and decided that as the beach is advertised as having a restaurant and a bar, to eat there. Alas the restaurant was fully booked until 3.30 and the unfriendly bar staff very reluctantly served us 4 dry turkey and ham sandwiches... but only after 12.30. The only thing on offer. I felt sorry for a mum with young children who also thought there would be more and had nothing for her young children. Beach is lovely.

I would absolutely recommend visiting Monastiri for the beautiful beach and setting, it was a lovely spot to swim and explore. However, some of the staff at the beach resort were rude and unwelcoming which did not leave a good impression. From the time we arrived the two hostesses were quite unpleasant and unhelpful to deal with, particularly given we were paying a fairly high price to use the sun lounge sets. I see from previous reviews that other guests have received the same cold service so this seems to be a consistent issue that management should consider addressing.

Beautiful beach, very pricey, set of sunbeds 50 eur, cabana 70 eur. Waited for a bottle of water for almost an hour, 2 hours for a club sandwich and fruit platter which we never recived. People where getting upset with the wait time, hungry kids screaming…

Last year same experience. Absolutely horrible. Bring your own food and shade!

Lovely beach - that’s it. So over priced and staff are v.rude, including all managers. We paid €70 for sun beds then after 2.5hrs got asked to move due to a double booking. No please, apology or thankyou. Just move.

Just like lots of places in Greece, prices have skyrocketed and the service or quality hasn’t improved.

Avoid, or be prepared to spend €€€ for terrible service.

Even though the beach is very beautiful the beach bar is terrible. The sunbeds cost 25€ per set (which is overpriced for Paros’s standards) and also it’s self service so you have to go get everything you want to purchase from the bar. I can’t really understand why they prices are so high and next time we’re visiting this beach we’ll bring our own umbrella and chairs. Honestly so disappointed and felt ripped off! Last but not least the restrooms were very dirty!

The beach is absolutely beautiful but the owners of the sunbeds and cafe have ruined it.
We called up to reserve beds and were told we couldnt and that we had to show up before 10am. We showed up the next day and all the sunbeds were reserved. (90% of the sunbeds were empty)
We were told we could hang around until 12.30 incase someone didn't show up.
The beds 2 rows from the back were €50. Other beaches are much cheaper and also offer free water and some give free fruit and the sunbeds are just as comfy.
The staff were arrogant and unhelpful and seemed to look down on anyone that didn't arrive in a yacht.

Plage privée, il faut réserver sinon tu es puni au fond de la plage.... C'est pas vraiment ce que j'attendais. . Private beach, you have to book otherwise you will be punished at the bottom of the beach .... It's not really what I expected. Full of hostess with a beautiful t-shirt in the colors of Greece though!

Ridiculously overpriced sunbeds and umbrellas (50 € for the front row) fill the entire beach. Almost all of them were reserved. We had to find a smaller beach around the corner. Thankfully, we took the first boat, so we were able to find a nice, secluded spot. The location makes it less windy, but also much hotter - especially midday.

Not sure why anyone would want to go here, but I guess someone likes this type of beach (since all but the last rows were reserved).

The location is great but completely ruined by the restaurant/management company that puts a very loud music on from early morning, even if you’re not on the sunbeds, the whole beach has to tolerate that music, it actually gives you a headache. If you are ordering from the restaurant, be sure to ask prices and sizes first: we ordered a 400ml beer but it turned out to be half a cup, nowhere near 400ml for €6 (we complained and they said that it was 400ml…) and a chocolate ice cream, which turned out to be just one small scoop (as per the pic) for €5! Actually more expensive than London…avoid this place, the beach is nice but that’s it really.
