Absolutely fabulous - a must for your stay
We lived in Greece for a time pre pandemic and have been to many islands and experienced Greek Cuisine and Hospitality and this must be one of the top of our list. During our time in Agia Anna we ate here 5/6 nights and most lunches. The staff were excellent, lovely service and genuine. The food was always fresh and well prepared but with the home cooked vibe - I would recommend to anyone to try here and hopefully we will be back eating here before our trip ends. It is family run. They have sun beds in the beach and rooms as well.

    We liked this small beach
We stayed in a hotel on this beach and loved it. It is small, and in some places a bit crowded, but there are a lot of Tavernas and places to rent lounges and umbrellas. The water is clear and blue, and the sand is firm for walking. You just can’t walk very far. There is a small but busy marina at the south end of the beach where you can take excursions to other parts of the island.

The beach itself is nice enough. Coming from an Australian perspective you won't be blown away, but it's decent. Nice water blue water and it's tucked away from the crowds.

As for the beach club, talk about highway robbery. This place is a joke, overpriced in the low season 100 Euro for a couple.
Staff seemed to abuse the poor guy cleaning the beds constantly in front of customers.

The clown who was serving us, I believe his name Angelos, had the nerve to try force us to pay a tip for his less than average service.

Do yourself a favour, grab a towel, some shade under the tree next to the beach club, and save yourself the money.

Beautiful bay with a very chic decor, but I was there with a toddler and my 8 month pregnant wife. The beach was quite empty and we ordered food way ahead of time to be sure to feed the baby .
Forty five minutes have passed and we still had not received our order.
After complaining, another 10 minutes passed by and they still did not bring our food.
So we decided to leave.
They chased us, told us the system was not working and asked us to go yo a far away place to pay.
They offered no apologies.
Never brought the food and made us pay for the chairs. Meanwhile baby in the arms and mom waited for 15 minutes in the sun.
I have been in many beach resorts and never received such bad treatment, especially with an unfed baby.

We arrived from US June 2020. Beach is nice and clean.
Only one restaurant open with limited menu.
A lot of construction noise every day right next to Naxian Breeze rooms.
Narrow streets impossible to find parking.

In my opinion the best beach in Naxos.
Water is so clean that you will not believe that exist such beach. Sand is too tiny and is not sticking in the sole.
Specific beach can be consider family beach (plenty of sand for kid to play and calm water) but also beach for couple’s and adults as you can enjoy your drinks and music to one of the bars (Banana bar restaurant is super) in the back road.
Also there is plenty of parking in the back road.

This is a beautiful beach, but this year it was jammed. Crowds of kids yelling, screaming and playing dangerously. Our aunt was hit on the head with a ball and fainted. Parents mostly indifferent. Some trash this year in the water, as well as seaweed. Hundreds of cigarette butts in the sand. So sad.

This was the closest beach to us when we stayed on Naxos. It’s organised during the day with lots of places to rent a sun bed. In the evening the cafes and restaurants turn the sun beds into tables and you can enjoy dinner on the beach watching the sunset. We loved this and my seven year old played in the sea every night while waiting for his dinner to arrive. I was a very special place to spend our evenings. We tried 5 places on the beach to eat and the food was excellent in every one.

Agios Prokopios, Agia Anna, Maragas and Plaka are all beaches south of Naxos town on the west coast, one after another in a big bay.
Whichever you choose you cannot go wrong - crystal clear sea, bars and tavernas with sunbeds at reasonable prices (contrary to Mykonos), as well many free parts.
Agia Anna is little bit smaller beach, but we liked it very much.

For me its one of the top 3 beaches of Naxos island . Crystal blue waters not warm not chilly colsd with many very good beach bars (strongly recommend Byammo beach bar) but at the same time calm and quiet despite the beach bars and the people who seem to enjoy this calm and quiet popularity
