The highlight of our three days in Naxos was a four-hour sunset kayak tour with Oceanus Kayaking. There was a group of 7 from France already booked but they were happy to add the two of us because we have had experience. Kayaking in the Aegean Sea around Naxos was special, partly because of the clear water, partly because of the knowledge of the island that Manolis shared with us, and partly because of seeing the Apollo Gate and sunset over the city. To top it off, Manolis took many great pictures which we could download and have as memories of our trip. I highly recommend this excursion.

Please, please, please book an excersion with Manolis! His passion really makesthe experience unforgettable. The kayaking excersion completely blew any expectations out of the water (pun intended)! During a two week trip across Greece and the isles, we went on several unrelated trips, excersions, hikes, etc. I can easily say this was the best activity we did. The weather actually forced us to kayak in a different location than was anticipated, but Manolis calmed our concerns and was able to guide us through unbelievable caves, prestine and private beaches for a delicious lunch, found a baby seal for us to observe (at a distance and safely) and even provided snorkling gear, which was a perfect touch for the crystal clear water and plethora of fish to watch. Manolis created a perfect day with his knowledge about the surroundings, his unbelievable talent with photography, and the general atmosphere he created the entire day.

Oceanus Kayaking was amazing and professional from start to finish. We did a day trip with two teens and one pre-teen.
Christina was responsive and easy to communicate with. A 2-day window is given for the trip—they aim for your preferred day but take into account the weather and route to make it the best trip possible.
Manolis and his assistant George were amazing from start to finish. Our family has kayaking experience but Manolis’ instruction helped us tremendously. He made sure we were safe and went out of his way to capture the experience in photos and video (included with the price) that they provided us after. The lunch that they prepared under the tent to give us a break from the sun was absolutely delicious (there was even coffee at the end!). George and Manolis paid attention to each person in our group to make sure they enjoyed the day and were challenged without being overwhelmed. They were wonderful about educating us about the local landscape and culture. Manolis went out of his way to show our son the best spots to snorkel and George made a point of building our son’s confidence while they paddled together. There was even the added touch of cold bottle of water for the drive home. Top-notch tour we will remember for a long time!

Beautiful way to view Naxos beaches and the Portara at sunset. This trip had everything - wonderful views and perfect duration. Manolis is really friendly and made us feel at ease with a thorough explanation on how to paddle and use the professional kayak. Manolis also brought us inside a cave with stalactites and was very reassuring in the process. He even provided us with a headlamp so we could admire the cave. He was very patient with us and took photos of us that he sent to us soon after which is great as souvenir! As we went to see the sunset near the Portara, we chilled for a bit and Manolis offered us complementary fruits and local snacks which we enjoyed on the kayaks. He also cares a lot about the environment and keeping Naxos beaches clean. Honestly we would definitely recommend as it was very well organised trip and we had a great time paddling.

Manolis and Christina organised a wonderful half day kayak for our family - including a 9 year old and 5 year old. It was perfect.
Manolis is a thoughtful and knowledgeable guide who made it not only enjoyable but educational for all of us. He personally took care of our young daughter, setting us at ease and empowering her to be involved and enjoy herself. His assistant George went out if his way to help our son with technique and confidence. This made it a truly family event, with everyone looked after and able to enjoy.
Christina organised amazing food, transfers and made sure we had everything we needed. As she drove us in, she gave us valuable insight into the Greek way of life, local plants and weather.
The whole day was catered to our needs and was an experience we will not soon forget.
I highly recommend Manolis and his team to anyone coming to the Greek islands. Whether you are a seasoned kayaking expert or a beginner, you will not be disappointed!!

This was a fantastic day trip! We went for the Kampos day trip which is one way. Your trip will be governed by the weather and your hosts will ensure your day is safe - too windy - you won’t go.
We had a hotel collection and Cristina was on hand when there were a few issues with this (wrong hotel easily fixed).
We were greeted and had a small
Tour of a local organic farm. We shared fresh lemonade here, tomatoes and bread. Super hospitality.
Manoli, our guide, gave us a paddling crash course, and carefully fitted us into our twin kayaks.
We broke the day into sections and kept the speed with the slowest paddler.
We stopped for a snorkel. Pushed on and stopped for a most delicious lunch and more snorkelling. We then paddled back to near to our hotel and were transferred by via the last part.
Our goats were kind and nurturing and made sure they accommodated for all the levels of ability. Manoli even towed one couple that were struggling.
Long sleeve Tshirts and hats provided if you need them ( you need them!)

This was a day out, fully catered for and although it cost our party €385 we feel it was very well worth it.

An absolutely amazing time! Probably the best thing we've done on our two week vacation in Greece! We went during the off season so it was just us and the tour guides but they were absolutely fantastic! They did everything to make sure we were warm, well fed and happy ❤️ I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes water adventures and picnics on beaches with good company :) 10/10 worth the money for sure! And at the end they provide you with a link to the pictures that the guides have been taking with their professional cameras throughout the trip!

We would definetely recommend everyone who visit Naxos to book a trip with Oceanus Kayaking. Our guide was friendly and inspiring, the equipment was in good condition, the food delicious and we also had time to swim and go snorkling. They gave us more than we paid for 🙂

Our 3 hour experience started with tuition on the beach and felt very safe for inexperienced/novice Kayakers. The trip was altered the night before because Manolus and Christina check the weather to ensure you enjoy your trip rather than endure it. This thoughtfulness was very welcome. Because we couldn't walk to the changed start point they were able to arrange a pick up for us.
We tackled various conditions with waves coming from different directions and I think we all picked up useful skills from the experience...including how to get back in a kayak after taking a swim.
I would thoroughly recommend kayaking with this company and I believe they offer all sorts of other adventures too.

What a wonderful experience, our Guide Mannios (I'm sure I've spelt that wrong) was not only professional and highly qualified, he was very chilled and extremely accommodating to our abilities and questions we had, from floura and fauna to Greek tourism.
The route was beautiful, fun and adventurous.
Christina was also very helpful when booking and arranging transfers.
Price was very fair, and we even got some great pictures gifted to us....this company goes above and beyond.
