For us, we found this beach to be the best beach in Naxos - quieter than Agios Prokopios and Agai Anna - Pedalos when calm - clear seas and lovely beach - vist Paradise Taverna on the beach for lunch.

I stayed at agios propikos, but the place to stay in naxos is plaka. The beach is long so it never feels over crowded. At night place is stunning filled with nice restaurants and a great fancy environment.

Sugar sand beauty, but like all the beaches this coast, a bit crowded. Has a nice relaxed feel, and one of the few topless areas, much to my surprise. Nude section between it and Agia Anna.

Beautiful beach and sea, nice selection of bars and restaurants. Not too busy but understand that it's more crowded than it used to be. Not much to do except sit on the beach or in the bar though

Inexpensive beach loungers and umbrella... about 6 euros for the day. We used the Italian orange and blue beach sets in the middle of Plaka beach that can be rented through Voula's taverna.

This used to be wild and away from it all now there are more and more places where someone has installed deck chairs and umbrellas for rent. you can still go naked if you feel like it but for how much longer? There are more and more buildings (hotels, rooms, restaurants etc). I find this a pity.

Four miles of fine white sand with clear and very beautiful colourful water for swimming and graet views across to Paros. Sun beds available and undeveloped areas if you prefer. Windsurfers and kite surfing down at the far end. Discrete development at the rear of the beach offers tavernas, bars and supermarkets to furnish your needs.

The beach has much improved since 2 years ago, but with its large pebbles/boulders is not for everyone, especially getting in and out of the sea. It is also known for its very strong winds and whirlwinds and waterspouts. The parasols and seating has been vastly improved. Not for the faint hearted and definitely not for anyone disabled.

Clear, cool turquoise blue sea and soft golden sand. Plenty of umbrellas. Great views across to Paros. Very busy in the middle with watersports and families but quieter up towards the Agias Anna end. Recommend Taverna Paradiso for traditional Greek food but plenty of other restaurants along the beach.

Whilst we actually stayed in Agia Anna our daytime was spent more on Plaka beach area, either on the beach or at their restaurants. Plaka beach is just a short walk around the small Agia Anna harbour (either via the main road or over the rocks) and can be a 2 hours to walk to the very end. There is... More
