Plaka is a long beach on the west side of Naxos. The sea is crystal clear and the beach is sandy with some stones. There is a series of places where you can get sunbeds and umbrellas but the space is limited and ends up being extremely crowded. Plaka also offers a number of taverna, restaurants and cocktail bars. There... More

Nice clean beach but pretty busy, if you have a car in Naxos you can find lots of quiet virtually deserted beaches. A few good beach bars here though

This beach was at the base of the villas where we stayed and we had a reserved umbrella and sun loungers. It was mostly families at the beach and was a nice place to relax without it being too crowded. The sand was soft and waves were gentle. We liked it enough to not visit any other beaches like we... Long, beautiful, and with many choices. We have been there as family, as a couple and singles and there are choices for everyone.

Even you don't stay in august here, it will be a paradise. Many Beachclubs with Pools around, the sand is fine, water in many green and blue shadows.

Crystal water, golden sand, the beach is separated from the Main Street by sandy dunes. Few naturists but many sun loungers with umbrellas on this 3 km long beach. Only drawback was the wind. Otherwise recommended for your paradise moment.

About 20 minutes with bus from the port. You can hop off several places and the beach have both quite areas and more crowdy with sunbeds. A lot of tavernas.

While in Naxos we went to Agios Prokopios. We passed by Agia Annas as well. The best was Plaka. try to pick a spot nearer to the end of the beach. Enjoy the soft white sand and the clear blue waters. Don't forget to get some homemade ice cream from the sweet cafe next to Petrino's !

Great long beach with both a quiet part (partly nudist) and a;so a busy part with lots of tavernas, and bars and beach 'lifestyle'

This is probably the best beach in Naxos. A long line of beach with golden sand and nice waters. You get to choose from a variety of sunbeds to rent. Or even sit on the sand and get the summer nature feeling while playing with sand and water. There's also one part of the beach where nudists go. If you... More
