Sand with pebbles, the beach is clean but wild (and this is good),no umbrellas. There is no shadow all day long. In the unwindy day here you can find a paradise, to forget if there’s Meltemi!! Have lunch in the tavern near the beach, the...More
We hired a vehicle to get here from Moto Speed just out of town for €60. From Mykonos Town it is only 20 minutes by car, roughly €15 euro each way by taxi. The beach itself is lovely, very scenic and clear water for snorkelling...More
Fokos is a lovely beach but does not have much shade so if the sunshine is not your thing take a sun shade with you.The large Taverna on the beach serves excellent food and is a very popular place so get there early for a...More
About 5 kilometers from the beach so what decent road. Unorganized beach, no chairs and no umbrellas.
Great water. Great area to swim. Beautiful cove concept beach.
The taverna has killer food and wonderful staff. Don’t miss this one.
Would defo recommend this day out to the beach. 25 min drive from our hotel and so worth it. Natural beach. No rental chairs. No fuss and one taverna with great fresh food and fast service! Lovely day with my girl!
Very quiet and remote beach. Just beautiful!
Fine sand and cool clear waters!
So relaxing and just more than words.
The drive down was very tricky but well worth every second. The restaurant on the beach front was also really nice

You need your own transport to get there...More
Yes! It does exist!
On the northeastern end of the island there is Fokos, a beautiful and quiet beach, with no music, no sunbeds or anything else but a taverna with fantastic, delicious local food ((don't forget to ask for the organic white wine produced...More

Hi Jane, Yes, there is a Taverna just back from the beach. It the only building anywhere near the beach. (Apart from a few houses on the nearby hills.) Compared to other beaches on Mykonos, this one is secluded. The beach is at the end of a bumpy old dirt road which follows a dammed river. One of the most Northern beaches on Mykonos.
