Such a fabulous experience, a must do for your stay in Mykonos! We are welcomed into this stunning home, so comfortable and beautifully and traditionally appointed! We learned to make several dishes and then got to eat them all! Much history is imparted, stories are told, many laughs - a warm and personal experience, delicious - all the elements of a wonderful experience! Highly recommend

All I can say we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this class. You couldn’t leave this class without learning so much about Greek food and culture . Teta and her staff are the best! The food you make and eat was the best meal in Greece. We like to thank you for making all of us feel like part of your family.

We decided to have a full immersion in the greek culture so we went for the mikonian spiti combined delos tour and cooking class. Our group to delos was small and our guide, Vassiliki, was amazing. She was extremely professional and she made our experience to delos extremely interesting, compared to other huge groups our group was small and we had much more opportunities to interact with our guide that was a qualified archeologist. After a 2h break and lunch at the port of mikonos we went to meet Teta for our cooking class. We were 4 in total and it has been so much fun! All started with appetizers and a chat to know each other, then we started cooking and laughing all together drinking wine and discussing greek culture and the island life, the food was great, the whole experience was never boring and well balanced. Teta is empathic and she looked after us at all time as a great home owner would do with friends.

The food was delicious and the owner's cousin was very friendly. What we expected was a traditional dinner is a Mykonos family's home. Instead it was a commercial property behind a restaurant. It was not their home. As soon as we arrived they served our food immediately then the owner kept leaving for 15-20 minutes at a time. Her cousin was nice and stayed and talked to us. The owner would come back for a few minutes then leave again. As soon as we were done, they let us know it was time to go. There were 13 people in our group. They had a little "thank you" gift supposedly for each person. Instead of giving everyone their "gift" on their way out, she handed me a pile of bags. I only realized after we were on the bus heading back to our hotel that there were only 10. Felt very rushed and not at all the cozy, family experience we thought we were getting. I bring groups of people to Greece every year or two. I think we'll pass on this one next time.

A relaxing, informative, and tasty day spent with Teta in her bright and welcoming kitchen! From the rose delight candy when we came through the door to the last taste of raki as we left, it was a perfect day full of new flavors, textures, and methods. Teta was a wonderful hostess with a good sense of humor and an obvious love of her home, food and culture. We had Kopanisti cheese and Louza sun-cured pork, we prepared spanakopita and peppers & peppers filled with rice that was fragrant with freshly chopped mint, we stuffed ourselves with braised beef flavored with cinnamon, and we ended our feast with bowls of thick yoghurt sweetened with a homemade grape jam (in between bites of the most delicious baklava I've ever tasted). We had red and white wines from her father's vineyard and oil from his olive trees. Oh yeah, and olives from Crete. Can't forget the olives! Two big thumbs up!

A great day from start to finish. Picked up to many tips for cooking, as well as information about the island itself. Teta (and her husband) are always the genial hosts. I would agree with another review on here, eat a relatively large breakfast, however, the amount of food available to eat once you sit down is vast.

On arrival our gracious hostesses Teta and Denise offered us a lovely plum? flavoured raki and a sweet similar to Turkish delight. We then had fun visiting the vege garden and choosing some produce to use for the class.Once the class had begun, we began by trying a selection of appetisers including cured pork, cheese and salad items, then moved onto making the stuffed vegetables and spinach pie for dinner. These items were accompanied by a Beef and Risoni dish, wine and raki and a dessert containing traditional spoon sweets and honey. Teta's husband joined us and we had a ball, before leaving with a selection of lovely gifts e.g. olive oil grown on the family farm. The best thing was to be able to visit an actual Mykonian home and enjoy some traditional dishes in the company of the family who were very friendly and hospitable. The challenge is for me to now recreate the dishes for some of my friends from the recipes we were given. Lesley - 19.7.2014

Although I am the primary cook in our home, I was less than excited about my wife interrupting our vacation in Greece for a cooking class and I was flatly wrong....one of the most memorable days in Greece.

First, Kristiana was fascinating - welcoming, knowledgeable, educational and, on top of all that, downright funny (perhaps she didn't know it but she was a truly genuine character).

Her home is beautiful and comfortable and a wonderful place to be, learn and meet people in a casual environment, seriously, felt so at home with Kristiana and everyone even though we had never met any of them.

We learned how to make several traditional foods, tips and techniques, we laughed, we made wonderful food and the wine carafes never went empty.

The tzatziki competition was a highlight (we all blew it except for Nashville Molly!) and Kristiana made a traditional Greek beef dish to pair with what we made...it was DELICIOUS, all of it.

I've made all but one recipe since I returned home, the were good, I need more practice to make them great.

Womderful host, experience, recipes, and a day enjoyed with newly made friends. If you even remotely enjoy cooking, do this!

Arranged a birthday trip to Mykonos. Decided to do something fun and unexpected. After checking out several options we decided to take a cooking class. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.

First off Teta and her cousin Christina welcomed us into their home and over the course of several hours created an atmosphere that allowed 13 strangers to feel like family. Sure a little home made wine and Raki (Greek windex 🤣🤣) helped.

With their guidance we were able to create several traditional Greek dishes. The men made stuffed tomatoes while the women made spanakopita. Throughout the entire evening they continued to pepper us with tips and suggestions that would hopefully allow us to recreate the dishes at our homes.

After prepping, assembling and cooking the meal we finally sat and broke bread. With our glasses full of wine, our lungs full of laughter and our stomachs full of food we parted into the night.

The time flew entirely too fast, as it is know to do when your having fun.

I would recommend that if your in Mykonos and you have the time that you should sign up for this course and spend an evening with Teta and Christina.
