Our guide told us a lot about the history and the decor inside. There are not many seats (back in the day, people would stand for an hour or so at worship services) so be aware that you may be standing for awhile if you...More

Our ship, the MS Rotterdam, docked in Corfu (Kerkira) Greece in Mid November, 2016. We had planned to take a Hop on Hop off bus but found that for about the same price, the four of us could rent a taxi with an English speaking...More

We only went to the Monastery as on our way back to our hotel after a day out and was recommended in the guide book. Not really worth making a special trip to see.

Myukonos is plenty of churchs and monasteries, but in this place you can see a enormous quantity of marble over the walls, something you can't imagine outside Acropolis.

The Monastery of Panayia Tourliani is very close to the restaurant that the cruise ship tours take their passengers to eat. It is worth a little pop-in. A quiet oasis.

It is not worth the trip but, if you pass by, it is a pleasant stop. Small church, there is not much to see but it speaks of a long religious tradition that continues till now. Entrance costs 1 Euro.
