We had to wait 30 min for the tour guide (whom apparently was waiting for another group of people join). Walking through the streets was a waste of time as we already did that the previous day on our own. The trip on the coach...More

First off, we really appreciate the company allowing us to join this group even though I had messed up the reservation and put in the wrong date. It was very kind of them to do so.
However, that is where my gratitude ended! The tour...More
Our representive from iTravel was waiting for us at our meeting point. The tour was a riding and walking tour. We got to see the beauty of the island and many of the small businesses. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting and provided...More
The price of the tour was kind of speedy. We shared a van with about 10 other people. We ended up seeing a lot of Mykonos, but I felt that we could have spent the money on a boat tour or something more enjoyable. It...More
This was a great way to see the beautiful island of Mykonos. The tour was a mixture of riding in a bus to the parts of the island that would be difficult to see as well as a walking tour of the town. It was...More
We took a Private version of this tour as we were 12 in the group. The private Tour started from our cruise ship and took us on a journey through the island visiting some beautiful beaches. We also spent one hour walking in Town through...More
This was a 3 hour tour, which was perfect to see the town, hear the history, still have time for shopping, lunch, and lounging by the beach for a short time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and went at a leisurely pace, allowing us to...More

We are a group of 5 adults and are looking forward to staying in Parikia for 3 nights in the last week of September. We would like to do a day trip to Mykonos on one of the days... it appears that the first Sea Jet leaves at 11.55 and comes back either 3pm ish which doesn’t give us much time or 7pm ish. We would prefer not to do the organised Delos Mykonos tour and just take our time wandering Mykonos but will consider the tour if no other options. Are there any other options such as a water...More

You would be much easier of a day excursion. The Alexander and Naxos Star are not large boats so there will not be too many people.
Which port? Naxos-Delos-Mykonos tour (3 Replies)
Hi thinking of doing the above one day tour but would like to know which port we will come into at Mykonos. I know one puts you right in the middle of everything, (we want to see little Venice and the windmills) and the other is further away? Seem to be getting conflicting info when I read up or look at maps. Many thanks.

Trip Report: Delos and Mykonos Tour on Naxos Star (19 Replies)
I generally don't post trip reports but hopefully this will be helpful to those who are considering taking a daytrip from Naxos to Delos and Mykonos. I booked a day tour and rode the Naxos Star boat, a yacht style boat in mid-September. This boat shall now be dubbed the "nauseous star"!!!! This post is a warning regarding the severe motion sickness that you can receive on this trip. I had a scopalamine patch on but still managed to vomit twice. All the passengers had vomit bags at the ready...More

Sorry you suffered on your trip :( Had you read about the boat trip options anywhere previously? On here it is mentioned many times, & on Rick Steves site, to take the MV Alexander as it is a larger boat & a much smoother ride. We did this one & had a really pleasant journey. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip :)
