Booked a trip to Heraklion (museum) which also then goes to Knossos from the shop in Rethymno high street. Lady in the shop was helpful with info and pointed out stop to meet the coach. Service throughout was very good - bus on time for all departure points and not crowded. Good information (in several languages as appropriate) was provided by the guide on board and we picked a few people up on the way along the Heraklion old road which provides great views of the coast and mountains. Be aware that virus distancing restrictions in the museum are strictly kept...lack of visitors at this time means you can comfortably see all exhibits though- allow at least 2 hours for your visit. There was some free time in Heraklion, but not enough for a full exploration. Again, reduced numbers of tourists meant we could comfortably walk at our leisure around Knossos complex- weather was perfect but can imagine it gets extremely hot in the height of summer. We were kept up to date of all prospective pick up and drop off points and times on the return journey. I believe the company runs another trip which goes to Knossos first and provides a guided tour on Thursdays. We would not hesitate to book again with this company in the future- thank you Klados travel

A very full days trip to Samaria gorge, we were looked after by Ingrid who was wonderful stopping to make sure we were okay and advising us how to cope with the heat. We were picked up punctually by Gorgos the driver and Ingrid who drip fed information in 3 languages on our trip to and from the gorge. Ingrid also dealt with the gorge and ferry tickets ensuring no one missed out. We bought our tickets through a third party and were extremely happy with Klados travel both travel and guide were great. One word of warning if you have any health issues check with the company before you travel as the trek through the gorge is punishing as my wife found out. I recommend Klados travel for their excellent service, beautiful coach (very comfortable) and wonderful staff. Thanks.

We went on a trip to Knossos, and then took another one to Margarites-Arkadi-Agia Galini-Matala. Both trips were great, very informative, everything was very well planned and the buses were comfortable. Both tours were in two languages, English and German. I was impressed how the guides were switching between the languages so effortlessly. Special thanks to Lazarus, he's just the nicest tour guide I've ever met!

In the absence of any information from our package holiday provider we spoke to a number of local tour operators regarding excursions in the Chania region of Crete. Klados Travel were by far the best as their representatives were enthusiastic especially Yianna who knew every detail about each trip without being pushy or trying to secure 'a deal.' Clear pricing meant we knew exactly what each trip included and any additional costs which may be incurred such as lunch or entrance fees. We booked two trips, the first to Margarites, Agia Galini, Matala and Spili, the second to Chania and Cretan Villages. The bus arrived punctually in each case and the trips ran to the timings described but in a completely relaxed way with no feeling of missing anything or having rushed stops. Our guide Lazaros was brilliant, offering local knowledge in an easy relaxed manner and it was great to be acknowledged as a returning customer by him on our second trip. The driver Jorges was excellent, navigating round some very narrow country roads in a gentle and easy drive. Perhaps the best part of both excursions was that whilst Klados Travel include the usual tourist spots, they also include places of interest and visit small local villages clearly not on other operators schedules. There is a genuine feeling of visiting the real Crete and we strongly recommend Klados Travel.
