Nice fountain among shops and tavernas.I wouldn't go looking for it as normally when doing the old town you should come across it. An ancient hidden gem among all the modernity.

Every walking tour in Rethymno stops off here so its often quite crowded, especially in summer months when two or three can visit at once. Very old and pretty it's just three taps of water flowing out of an old wall. Great to see children having fun and splashing around in the hot summer

You will stumble upon this site while wandering in Rethymno old town. It’s hard to miss. It offers a window into history of the town and you can even stop and rinse your hands under cool running water if you need.

nice piece of history left to Rethymno by a generous generations old family. it is a shame that there have been so many new buildings erected all around, it does take some of the ambiance away from it. there can be problems getting good pictures as most of the day part of the fountain is in the shade and part is in the sun, recommend using your flash on your camera
