Although mentioned very often in travel books a certain expectation is created that is causing disappointment when one faces Rimondi. Just a few second to gaze at it suffice. Would not walk around the block for it.
Had read about this fountain before we visited Rethymnon but came across it quite by chance when wandering around the old town. Nice for a quick photo opportunity and a brief stop, not that much to see. Glad it has been preserved.
