Lovely pub to chill and listen to great music. They play all types of rock music and the DJ is always up to play any requests.
Service is quick, but does take a little longer if you want cocktails. Drinks always come with a bowl of nuts or crisps.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Just wish there was a bar like this at home !!

Myself and husband are big rockers so this place was perfect! Amazingly decorated, great drinks and fantastic staff. The 2 piece band performing the night we were there, a girl singing and guy on guitar were beautiful! Coolest rock bar I've been to.

We had two purposes when we visited Chaplin's. To seek shelter from the rain, and to get something to eat. Well, the food was nice - and the beer was excellent. The service (raki, yes please) very friendly, so we were staying for most of the afternoon. Atmpspheric place. Did not experience live music, but the choice of music - it was rock - from the speakers, contributed to the good atmsphere that arose

This place is awesome. Staff is very friendly. Location is so nice but more importantly the drink is so nice. Happy hour from 7 to 8pm this place will have ya on the floor crying out for milk with your shorts at your ankles probably about 9pm ish unless you drank cups of tae. They have awesome cocktails but their speciality is their shots where the "irish car bomb" is basically as it says. 2 of these and your wrote auf for the evening. Stomach blown to bits. Fully recommended

I have listened to a lot of rock music in my 60+ years, not all of it great or even very good. They play a lot of the latter here (maybe I just picked the wrong night) Bland Euro poprock and a few more obscure older Zeppelin era tunes. Shabby looking and not very clean (yes I do realise it's a rock bar!) Limited drinks menu and staff more interested in what is happening on their phones. A disappointing experience.

Nice atmosphere. If you enjoy rock music then you would enjoy it here. They do happy hour 7-8pm, but the prices overall are more on the pricey side. Majority of the staff are friendly but we came here a few times and there was this one waitress who would always refuse to let us pay separately, she would insist that just one person pay and sort it out amongst ourselves.

Absolutely amazing. Great cocktails & friendly staff that were funny and informative and even seved us a free shot and even done one with us! Lovely snacks Recommend 100%. Fab time

A comfortable spot especially for those can like any kind of rock/metal music. But it is a friendly vibe close to the main busy bars. Good for those that are slightly introverted but also those that are a little more social. Great spot!

Excellent service and don’t miss the happy hour 19.00 to 20.00.
We aren’t rock fans but that’s ok as the majority of the time we were there it was middle of the road rock playing in the back ground.
Great vibe though and lovely staff. Well deserved rating of No 1 bar

This place rocks! I have been a faithful regular customer for years. I can’t believe I forgot to write a review. What I have to say about this place after many years and tons of happy memories is that it is the absolute best place to enjoy a cold one with friends! Almost always fun, never boring, with good music and drinks and usually filled with interesting characters, Chaplin’s is a must when in Rethymno!
