We booked the yacht for 3 days and 2 nights. The crew was incredible and took us to see wonderful sights! Alex and George were very attentive to all of our requests and made this an extremely memorable adventure! The crew showed us very special places around the island and even helped us recover a lost watch after we left the boat. I highly recommend this boat and crew for a memorable time in Crete!

This is something I would definitely do again next time I'm in Rethymno. The sailing boat was in perfect condition, spacious, with a very friendly skipper, and we got to see loads of beautiful scenery that we could only reach from the sea. A must-do.

It was an amazing experience !! We lived it very nice and we went through awesome all the hours we were in the boat. The staff and the owner were very friendly and hospitable. I propose it to everyone unreservedly!!!!

Αn incredible experience! we have spent an unforgettable day at sea! swim in deserted beaches with crystal clear waters and visit the beautiful Marathi. the boat was wonderful and the crew was very pleasant and friendly! I would suggest everyone to have this experience!

A friend of mine suggested us to go for sailing, so we booked seats in Akasti sailing experience. All the crew was kind, we felt warmly with the great hostly, like we knew each other from the past! We saw lovely places, and beaches and we enjoyed the sea and the sun! If you go to Rethymno, I suggest you to go for sailing to "Akasti sailing experience" and live the same experience.

If you visit Rethymno you
donot want to miss this activity! Enjoy a day full of sea and sun as you explore the beaches around. Visit Marathi beach with great weather and best facilities.........AMAZING! The captain is a great guy who explains everything in details. The boat is new and look like speedboat.

We are a family of four adults and a 10 month-old baby, and we used Sailing Experience on 20th July 2018.
I wanted something really special for our last day of the holiday so called around a few of the boat tour companies that I found on TripAdvisor on the evening before. I found that Markos, who dealt with my phone enquiry, was professional and very friendly. His demeanour gave me confidence to book with Sailing Experience over the other companies I spoke to. We agreed a price of €400 for a 4 hour afternoon trip on the Friday. The price is determined by the number of hours, not the number of people, so if you had a larger group it would be even better value. Markos had suggested leaving at 5pm from Rethymno Marina so we could watch the sunset, but I explained we had a baby and wanted to be back earlier for dinner, and he was happy to be flexible.
We met at the entrance to the Marina 15-minutes before our start time, having text him to let him know we were running 10 minutes late. He was ready and waiting for us with a smile. He accompanied us to the yacht and introduced us to George and Alexandros who were the crew taking us out - both were friendly and professional and really gave the impression we were in safe and experienced hands. They offered us life jackets for the adults and for the baby, which we declined. I had no concerns at any time about safety of the baby, which shows how comfortable we were with them.
The yacht is beautiful! We have been on boat trips on holidays before, but never a yacht and this was a real treat. We were able to pretend for a few hours that we were living the life of the rich and famous! George and Alexandros brought us beers, wine and fresh fruit while we relaxed in the sun and enjoyed the views - bliss. We sailed east to the stone arch and caves where we swam from the boat to the pebbly beach, which we had to ourselves. My husband and the baby were taken to the beach in the dinghy so they didn't have to swim. They even lent us a Go Pro so we could take pictures and video in the water! We had a really wonderful time, swimming and messing around for an hour or so. When we were ready to leave we waved to George who brought the dinghy from the yacht and took us through the arch and round to the caves so we could see inside, then back to the yacht. On the way back they presented us with bruschetta and more drinks. Total perfection in their hospitality. We all used the cabins and bathrooms to take a quick shower and change on the way back so we were feeling fresh and lovely when we reached the Marina four hours after we left. They helped us with the bags and pushchair and we were off to the town for dinner.
I really can't say enough good things about this team and the company. We had such a wonderful experience and enjoyed their company while chatting. Since we returned I received an email with all the photos and videos we took on the Go Pro - more evidence that they are very professional, even after the trip has ended.
If we are ever in Rethymno again in the future, this will be one of the first things I book. Brilliant!

We were a family of five adults and chose the full day trip - it was worth every penny! The whole day was amazing; we swam in the clear blue sea, climbed to deserted caves, docked at a small village for a walk and enjoyed the snacks freshly prepared by the crew. The captain and crew were great; very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a unique personal experience and one which we would thoroughly recommend!

We were 10 people, we had a four day excursion on Akasti Sailing Yacht from the Marina of Rethymno to island Kithira(NE of the island Crete). Everyone was very comfotable either at the cadins or the deck. The expirienced skipper was careful and very kind with the crew. We had the chance to visit interesting places, sail, snorkel, swim and relax enjoying the view of the sea. We are going to do it again at least for one day trip!

Awesome sailing experience!! Sailing boat Akasti is in perfect situation. The crew was very friendly and the weather was amazing! For sure we will do it again. A must do experience!!!
