I got injured the day before our trip to Damnoni & Preveli Palm Beach so we had to cancel very last minute. Cancellation policy was 24 hours before the trip, so we knew that there was just a little chance for a refund (the booking was trough a partnership). I contacted Katerina and she tried to find other customers, so they could take our place and we would get a refund anyway. I wasn’t expecting a refund lastminute actually, but it worked! We are very grateful! Its a shame that we can’t go to this trip, but when we’re back in Rethymno, we’ll definitly book at Markidis Travel again. Thank you so much Katerina for solving this probably last minute!

We booked a tour for 2 from Rethymno to visit the Elafonisi pink sand beach in July 2020, the trip was the definitely a highly of our holidays in Crete! We got picked up around 8am in the morning with a small bus for around 20 people. Communication was clear and easy via email and whatsapp. We learned lot of interesting info about Crete through both our driver and tour guide, if you’re reading this, thanks again! Overall, in my opinion if you’re in Crete, a day tour to Elafonisi is a must! You will learn so much on the way and got to enjoy the unique beach with pink sand!

We took my son on his first holiday ever, for his birthday. he turned 3 while we were there. As we walked along to the old town we spotted this company, we were eagar to book a waterpark trip for my sons birthday(but did not mention he was turning 3), unfortunately no one was booking excursions there on that day... SO.... a little bummed out, we asked katerina where would be a good place to take him for his birthday... she suggested elafonisi, which we had wanted to visit anyway. To cut along story short, my wife and i were touch deeply when the amazing 'kostas' gave my son a birthday present, before setting off for the start of a day that will live with me forever Not only were we with the nicest tour company ever, but my son Max, my wife and i had the best time ever on the beach.... Just when we thought it was safe.... lol.... kostas, katrina and markidis travel managed to reduce us to happy tears. On the way back from elafonisi, we stopped at a beautiful little cretian tavern... so picturesque... the tears came moments later when, by complete suprise, they bought him out a birthday cake and sang to my boy My email is kingsalami@hotmail.co.uk If you guys from markidis read this post... please get in touch so i can thank you personally

We've just returned from a trip to Matala Agia Galini and Spili. The whole thing was marvellous from start to finish Cristos was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable friendly and helpful and Stavros was an excellent driver The small group tour was great as it meant we were picked up and left off at our apartments I have some mobility issues and some other companies won't pickup at our apartments. The restaurant in Matala was excellent, great food and value. A lovely day out and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I hope to use this company again before the end of our holiday.
