Next to German cemetery this 3500 years old tomb is worth checking. Roof collapsed and walls supported by iron no so exciting but gives you thoughts.

It’s far from exciting, but it’s a bit of history, it’s free and on the way to the cemetery, I walked from Mikes hotel, which is a bit of a trek, but can be done.

It’s hard to believe you are looking at the remains of a tomb of such antiquity. Just before German War Memorial turn left onto dirt track ( sign had gone when I visited ) See War memorial and tomb on same visit.

I wouldn’t walk up here specifically to see this, but it’s on the way to the German war cemetery and worth a look.

We called here as we passed it on the walk to the German War Cemetery. There is not much to see but the sense of age is undeniable. At over 2000 years old it is awesome to be able to walk where ancient Greeks trod.

This is worth a visit if you go to the German Military Cemetry, as it is just a short walk off the road to the cemetry.

if you are staying in Maleme then it is worth a little walk up the hill - especially if you are also going to the german war memorial.... It is just a tomb, but it is also about 3500 BC, so incredible in itself...

Not much to see and you have to read the board go in and have a look and then read it again so it makes sense. Surprising that you can just walk into something that has been there for over 2000 years.

What can I say- what you see is what you get. Yes it's a tomb. It's square. Not much more to say. Took us about 2 mins to look around. Nice views over the bay though.
