The walk up from the recycling paper factory has many interesting endemic Cretan plants. The entrance to the Gorge is alive with many interesting birds: martins, clough, thrush and if you are lucky a golden eagle!
The waterfall Ha Gorge is close to the DSS paper factory. You can park the car near the small church. From there you take a 400 m walk. Take good shoes it is a stony way.
