The walk up from the recycling paper factory has many interesting endemic Cretan plants. The entrance to the Gorge is alive with many interesting birds: martins, clough, thrush and if you are lucky a golden eagle!

One of the most beautiful gorges in Crete. Unfortunately, not everyone can enjoy these beauties. Required good condition and preparation of climbing.

Really beautiful, the walk from the parking to the gorge is only about 10 minutes. You can't actually get inside the gorge. Great views toward the sea too.
