We were matched with Akrivi for a tour of The Palace of Knossos and she provided some expert knowledge and gave us a fascinating outlook on life at the palace. We highly recommend her as she allowed us to really take everything in whilst gaining knowledge. Her English is impeccable and she was also very friendly! Thanks, Akrivi :)

Did a Best of Heraklion Tour with Akrivi- fantastic! She is not only knowledgeable and absolutely fluent in English, but she weaves a coherent narrative into her overview of myth, history, embryonic archeology, and modern discoveries / analysis. Wonderful insights.

Visiting the museum of natural history of Heraklion with Akrivi as our guide was a memorable day not just for us but for our family and children ...
Her tentative care,witty remarks always kept us on our toes!
The visit of the historical old town and historical museum of Heraklion brought the Crusaders and siege of the capital of Crere alive !
Thank you Akrivi we all thoroughly enjoyed our visits with you as well had the opportunity to make a new friend here on the island

While on a cruise in the Aegean sea we've reached the port of Heraklion and we've booked the services of a qualified guide . We searched online and we came across Akrivi , a registered guide in Heraklion . She was very responsive to our mails and she provided all the information we needed to book a tour , that combined many sites in and around Heraklion , Knossos and a near by village Acharnes. A photo stop at the Zeus temple , overlooking Heraklion was definitely a highlight !! Akrivi also arranged the transportation with a luxurious van . Overall a great experience , we hope to visit Crete again to spend few more days...

Private walking city tour in Chania old town with Akrivi Guide. Words cannot express what an absolutely great day we spent with her! Experienced tour guide & over all the tip of the tour ... Greek coffee with "ipovrihio" vanilla mint !!! Highly recommend tour and highly recommend professional tour guide . Thank you so much Akrivi. !!!!!

As an undergraduate student of World Religions, I wanted to learn as much as possible about Crete's religious history and practices, from its ancient beginnings to the present. My girlfriend and I were pointed towards the direction of a great tour guide: Akrivi. Speaking 4 languages very fluently (English, French, Russian and Greek) Akrivi expanded my knowledge concerning the country's religious timeline. Her knowledge also covered pretty much anything about Crete, the people (ancient and modern), the food, and much more.
Akrivi made my girlfriend and my experience memorable. She is astonishing at reading people and goes the extra mile to make sure her clients understand the beauty and the history behind sight-seeing attractions. Her level of knowledge makes you want to continue learning from her.

If you're a student, consider a tour guide. I'm a student of Anthropology and didn't care for a tour guide at first. After talking to our tour guide, her name Akrivi, I was glad I did. She speaks 4 languages really well and could tell you pretty much anything about Crete, the people (ancient and modern) and the food. Akrivi speaks: Greek, English, Russian and French.
I grew up loving and still loving Greek Mythology. Akrivi made my boyfriend and my experience memorable. Even if you’re not sure what you want to learn or do, she is astonishing at reading people. She goes the extra mile to make sure her clients understand the beauty and the history behind sight-seeing attractions. Her level of knowledge is a 10 out of 10.
I highly recommend hiring Akrivi. My boyfriend and I were super happy that we did!

Highly recommend guide! Took us to Knossos and the city of Heraklion. Excellent tour! Met us at cruise ship and the day went very efficiently from there. Would recommend this tour if you are visiting Crete.
