We went to this amazing winery before the season opening, we enjoyed the whole place for us, the warm fireplace, the amazing view, the food that was cooked with love from the owner's mother. The wine was really good, and the guided experience through tasting was compatible with our unexperienced tongue. The fact that the company was runner by women was the cherry on the cake, I'm always happy to support women in businnes.

Just visited and we were super surprised. The view is amazing, staff very friendly and wine is delucious.
We chose menu with 5 wines and some cheese and pork. We also got extra tasty tomatoes from their garden.
This menu (5 wines, grapa, cheese, rosins, tomatos, pork) costs 17€/person.
We really suggest you to visit this place!

Our excellent guide recommended this vineyard on a trip through the Cretan countryside. COVID has temporarily reduced capacity at many of the establishments in Crete but the owner Nikki welcomed us as my wife and I were the only people at the time. You would think we were family by the treatment she gave us. The tasting was awesome and the winery was beautiful. This made our trip to Crete even more meaningful. I highly recommend this place! Very worth the trip and the wine is excellent

We paid 50€ for tasting 3 rather small portions of natural wine. The wines themselves were okay, however the hostess provided only the bare minimum information about the wines. The whole experience felt rather underwhelming. The service was not up to a standard that one would expect for such a price. The ‘winery tour’ was essentially a 15 minute trip into the cellar with very little information about the wine making itself, just the very basic stuff, did not even include a trip out into the vineyards. Can’t in all honesty recommend. You’re better off going to other wineries around Crete, which are not only better value for money, but also will provide the experience one expects from a wine tasting at an estate.

One of the most interesting wine tasting sessions I've had! We chose the premium tasting of 7 wines + tsikoudia. We could select the wines we wanted to try, which was unusual but fantastic. A very friendly welcome and relaxed tasting, guided by one of the sisters - a keen and knowledgeable lady. Fantastic views too!

Our group of six arrived at Domaine Paterianakis, set in a hilly area with lovely views. Our tasting appointment was at 4:00, which we knew was after the last tour of the day. Our hostess escorted us to the tasting room, where we sampled five wines, accompanied by meat and cheese platters. While the wines were enjoyable, the pourings and portions were smaller than at other wineries on our trip. Our hostess provided basic information about the wines served, but did not go into great detail. We would have enjoyed learning more.

Really great tasting experience. We did the food pairing and it was delicious authentic Cretan food; plentiful and homemade with ingredients from their garden.
Their wine business has passed through generations in the family and is now female run by two of the daughters. Their thoughtful work is not just noticed in the bottle but in all the hospitality details. Of note is their commitment to making organic wine. Very easy and pretty drive from Heraklion. Bravo to the owners of the winery for providing such a lovely setting and views to enjoy their wines.

We spent a few hours at this beautiful family run, organic winery up in the mountains. Our lovely guide Emanuella made our visit more memorable with her extensive knowledge of all the wines produced and the history behind each of them. We enjoyed learning all about the labels and how each wine is named. Organic cucumbers, tomatoes from the garden with home produced olive oil as well as cheese and pork were the perfect accompaniment to our wine tasting. A delightful few hours well spent with Emanuella at Domaine Paterianakis Organic Winery.

Great wine, views, and food. We did the wine tasting and lunch experience booked through their website. It was a great experience for the whole family (we have 3 kids ages 4, 8, and 11). The lunch was fresh from their kitchen garden and authentic Cretan food. Since it was summer, the lunch of almost all summer vegetables (tomatoes, zucchini, squash, eggplant, etc) presented in several different ways. Their estate olive oil was also very good and buttery. The wines were very good as well and paired perfectly with the meal. They have several organic and natural fermented wines as well.

Booked a wine-tasting online. At this boutique winery. This is one of the first organic wineries in Crete. We joined the cellar tour upon arrival after we had a tasting of 7 wines. Staff is knowledgeable and is part of the winemaker and founders family.
