Stopped in the shop and met the family who makes the items in the workshop. Purchased a Cycladic figurine made of marble, very high quality and beautiful pieces of art. Amazing family, very friendly and helped us by recommending some places to visit and a local place to eat that is very high quality and reasonably priced which we made a reservation for. Very much enjoyed discussing how some of the pieces are made and the inspiration for them from the museum and historical objects. Great experience and reasonably priced, stop in!

We bought a beautiful handmade bronce sculpture made by Katarina's husband.
She was really nice to explain the story of many of the beautiful pieces she has in the store.
The only one place were we found handmade pieces and at great prices.
Katarina was such a nice host, she made us feel welcome from the beginning and show you how proud she is from her husband's work.
Definitely the best place in Heraklion to purchase a beautiful piece as a reminder from your visit!

Wonderful, real and handmade souvenirs. The owners and employees were very friendly. My boyfriend and I were thinking about a souvenir while the owner started telling us about her family business, where they have been creating beautiful sculptures and masks for years. We will be happy to come back to you! Greetings from Karolina and Mateusz from Poland :)

The Irida shop is a must visit while in Crete. A wide variety of statues, artifacts, and jewelry, each with the utmost level detail and beauty. I purchased a gold Minoan Bee which my wife loved!

Irida is a very nice lady. My husband and I were in Heraklion recently and visited her shop to buy some souvenirs. Irida told us about her family business and I bought a pair of silver earrings and a pendant made in a “Circle of Life” design. Irida’s son is the one who makes jewelries and he happened to be in the shop at the moment of purchase.
I highly recommend this establishment.

This is a lovely shop selling actually interesting, quality handicrafts-- not tourist junk. Katerina and her son make many of the items themselves and are lovely people to chat with. I visited with a friend from Heraklion who is knowledgeable about jewelry and he confirmed that their work is good quality, too. Highly recommend for worthwhile souvenirs of Crete!

A standout amongst a sea of tourist traps. This shop is a must visit if you want authentic Greek items to take back with you. We also had them ship some art pieces which arrived on time, safely and were exactly the ones we ordered.

This shop has a terrific location near the archaeology museum and features high-quality reproductions of the treasures in that museum. We bought a lovely bracelet and a ceramic container with a Minoan-style octopus on it.

A friend had visited earlier in the year and directed us to Irida. The friendly and welcoming proprietor remembered my friend fondly—this family makes genuine connections with people.

A family of artisans own the shop and also have a variety of souvenirs. They are the nicest people, very helpful, and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our time in the shop visiting the family and buying several items, and if ever in the area again we will return for a visit and shopping. The items we purchased are being shipped and they were very prompt in e-mailing us the tracking information. It was a very positive experience and fun talking with the family. I highly recommend.

A great experience visiting the Irida family store - a true business that actually runs in the family. Great copies of the artifacts that can be seen in the Archaeological Museum, just across the street, manually crafted. So, say, you take a look at the world famous Phaistos disk in the museum and you can take your own bronze copy, handmade, in the Irida store. Add to this a pleasant shopping experience, with the host ready to explain everything for you and to toss in one or more little gifts at the end -- briefly one of the loveliest shops I've been in. I highly recommend a visit.
