Irida is a very nice lady. My husband and I were in Heraklion recently and visited her shop to buy some souvenirs. Irida told us about her family business and I bought a pair of silver earrings and a pendant made in a “Circle of Life” design. Irida’s son is the one who makes jewelries and he happened to be in the shop at the moment of purchase.
I highly recommend this establishment.

A standout amongst a sea of tourist traps. This shop is a must visit if you want authentic Greek items to take back with you. We also had them ship some art pieces which arrived on time, safely and were exactly the ones we ordered.

A family of artisans own the shop and also have a variety of souvenirs. They are the nicest people, very helpful, and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our time in the shop visiting the family and buying several items, and if ever in the area again we will return for a visit and shopping. The items we purchased are being shipped and they were very prompt in e-mailing us the tracking information. It was a very positive experience and fun talking with the family. I highly recommend.

A great experience visiting the Irida family store - a true business that actually runs in the family. Great copies of the artifacts that can be seen in the Archaeological Museum, just across the street, manually crafted. So, say, you take a look at the world famous Phaistos disk in the museum and you can take your own bronze copy, handmade, in the Irida store. Add to this a pleasant shopping experience, with the host ready to explain everything for you and to toss in one or more little gifts at the end -- briefly one of the loveliest shops I've been in. I highly recommend a visit.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was at the Irida Family Workshop. The wares are all crafted by their family members locally and are of very high quality. I got a couple bronze recreations of Achilles’ helmet and cuirass, as well as a pair of earrings based off of the Minoan bee pendant. Needless to say, it is a must-do for any history buff, who will recognize some of the items from the nearby Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Konstantinos even walked me to a nearby restaurant that they recommended to me for lunch! They are very kind and friendly people, and I hope more visitors support local artists like them instead of buying the foreign knock-offs. Eviva!

Such an amazing experience!! We bought beautiful gold jewelry sets and an authentic Cretan knife. The staff was incredible and friends and the owner gave us so much help and caution. Definitely will be a regular here on our trips. LOVE THIS PLACE 10/10 recommend

Please stop by and visit this shop, this is a family business that either actually makes the products or gets a few items from Crete and NOTHING is made in China!
The experience was wonderful, while I was getting a few items including getting some larger pieces shipped, they chatted about how things were made starting with their grandfather. I recommend this shop before going anywhere else. Including the museum shop which is nothing in comparison to this shop.
There are only very few shopping locations that I recommend while I have traveled across the world and this one is a MUST while on Crete. Thank you so much for your gracious hospitality.

My boyfriend and i went to heraklion on 19 of september 2018 and saw this beautiful store. We walked in and the moment i came there i felt this great energy! The woman started to talk to me and explain everything with the nicest details and got my interest right away ^^
I bought the nicest breacelet and the told me that everything they have there is no import and have a stamp that is realy form Greek.
I didn't want to leave and also my boyfriend who is realy in to swords didn't want to go :D. We had a blast and we go back on the 21 of september 2018 (tomorrow) and i can't wait to go back to this lovely store before we go back to Holland.
I can realy recommend this store, it's such a lovely store with Nice statues, juwerly and swords of the lovely Greek! With Nice details and diffrent stories behind those things! If you love Greek, jou deffinetly love this store ^^!!!!

We happened by this little shop while on our way to the museum. Very lovely jewelry. Reproductions of ancient jewelry and statues as well as original designs. The saleswoman who is part of the family of artisans was very nice, warm and friendly. Did not rush us or excessively pressure to buy. We ultimately did buy a few things to take back with us.
