Well worth the trip, great way to see some of the coastal highlists. Make sure you have sturdy shoes on for walking on the island. Dont drink to many of the ice cold beers on board before hiking around the ruins !
We have been many times before but took some friends who had never been so decided to go from Plaka just along the road from Elounda, it was so beautiful and much more quieter than bustling Elounda (even though it is still great to go...More
Spinalonga (Long spine) is the island off the north east coast of Crete that was a Leper Colony, for me it was emotionally charged as the guide (Peter) was so full of detail, caring and knowledge it was difficult to realise that this goes on...More

Hi we stayed in hersonnisos we walked into town an paid about 40 45 euros each the trip as nearly all day as dropping other people off got picked up outside hotel. Also went to other towns like elounda and agia pallggio for a drink had lunch on boat and drink was included little hint if you walk to town look around first as ones nearer the sea cost more than side streets or other main streets hope this helps
